Virat Kohli might not have had the best of outings in the first innings of the ongoing opening Test between India and the West Indies at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua but continues to make headlines.

Despite registering a rare failure, the Indian skipper is still grabbing eyeballs, not for his cricketing exploits but for his reading choice. During India's innings, Virat Kohli was seen reading -- the book of his choice: "Detox Your Ego: Seven Easy Steps to Achieving Freedom, Happiness and Success in Your Life" by Steven Sylvester.

most certainly does.. but with a talent n performance like tht, the guy deserves to have tht ...

He is a former cricketer and and also a psychologist who works closely with athletes. Not a very curious choice - it is a book every athlete should read.

To detox yourself from ego - you need to have an issue with it.

I guess only those who play at that level of excellence have this issue but would be shocking to see Root or Williamson reading it

:))

I can see how that's funny.

In psychology, the term "ego" has a different meaning.

I just bought this book. Thank you, Kohli.

This is apparently written by a cricket psychologist.

Great plug for the guy's book.

It's like a free worldwide advert for him.

The book was a bit short and I didn't find it interesting.

I returned the book for refund.

I guess Virat Kohli's learned one or two things from the book :)
