I feel the Pakistan team of the 90s was the strongest team in the 90s, just like the Aussies in the 2000s and WI in 1980s. Batting, allrounders, great wicketkeepers, fast bowlers, spinners - it had everything. I had their posters in my room. Being an Indian, i gave my team 1 in 3 chance of winning, even with the great Sachin Tendulkar performing. The poor Pakistan results in this period could be explained by match fixing. That team had the fear factor and aggression. Now Pakistan just have great fast bowlers along with Shadab and Babar. The fear factor is missing. I am glad to have witnessed probably the greatest Pakistan team of all time.
They lost 2 Test series to Sri Lanka, and 1 to Zimbabwe at home in the 90's. Add to that got whitewashed in Australia.
