Did the Ghar Wapsi movement fail in India?

How do I get reborn as a brahmin?
You do not. Caste is defined by your attributes. Not by birth. It is due to Manu Smriti that defined this rubbish in 7th-8th century. It is called VarnaShramaDharma.
Varna - Group
Shrama - Work
Dharma - Duty

Ones caste is defined by the duty he does. Not by birth. Corruption crept into Sanatana Dharma over millennia.

How do I get reborn as a brahmin?
Why does anyone want to be born as a Brahmin? They get laughed at, mocked, no political clout, they are one of the poorest communities and they have no help from the Government in the form of freebies and reservations.

If I want to be born in India, I want to be born in a community that is assured of free stuff at every step of life.

Hoors or heavenly women are not exclusive to Islam. Hindu scriptures have ample mention of such creatures. ( and I am not talking about this in negative sense)

I didn't know Hindu scriptures promised hoors to pious people in the afterlife. Any references ?

For an "atheist" Hindu, you sure find lots of ways to sugar coat Hindu texts. Take out the ones you don't like and claim they were mistaken, and then rebrand Hinduism as clean and wholesome again with a fresh lick of paint.

I don't mind to be fair, but a true atheist would just say Hinduism was mostly mythical nonsense which should be consigned to history. That is the approach which ex-Muslims take when they reject Islam.

I didn’t become an atheist by waking up one day and proclaim it. I am well aware of the culture I was born in.
I respect the aspects of Sanatana dharma that make sense. I despise the aspects of it like caste system by birth and cow dung curing cancer and diabetes nonsense.

Hinduism is definitely mythical. This is why when westerners talk about Brahma Puran and Vishnu Puran etc, they call it Hindu mythology. It has lots of super natural mind numbing things that are described in it. Out of physics realm. Hence mythical.

I apply the same logic to Islam too. It’s no different to Hindu Mythology. Flying Horses, talking ants, Adam being 90 feet tall , Eve made from his rib etc.. pure mythology in my book. It all depends on how deep you are into mythology and how much your brain can believe in things that are supernatural.

Hoor is Arabic word , in Sanskrit they are called apsaras.

I will few references , because of lack of time , in weekend I can find more. But I think you just wanted to know the concept.

O king, habitually makes gifts of kine, proceed, piercing through the clouds, on a car of solar effulgence to Heaven and shines there in splendour. That man who habitually makes gifts of kine comes to be regarded as the foremost of his species. When thus proceeding to Heaven, he is received by a thousand celestial damsels of beautiful hips and adorned with handsome robes and ornaments. These girls wait upon him there and minister to his delight. He sleeps there in peace and is awakened by the musical laughter of those gazelle-eyed damsels, the sweet notes of their Vinas, the soft strains of their Vallakis, and the melodious tinkle of their Nupuras

( Mahabharata 13.79.27 )
O king, in six years. There is no doubt in this. Such a man earns the merit that attaches to the performance of the Agnishtoma sacrifice. Endued with merit and freed from every kind of stain, he attains to the region of the Apsaras that echo with the sound of songs and dance, and passes his days in the company of a thousand damsels of great beauty.”

Mahabharata 13.106.53-55
He will enjoy the pleasures of Vidyadharas, powerful Gandharvas, in the worlds of Indra and other guardians of the quarters and those of Prajapatis and finally reach Brahma’s region where he will sport with a hundred virgins

Shiva Purana 1.24.68-70
Yama tells them – You are noble souls duly blessed, since you have performed what is ordained in the Vedas. Good deeds that are conducive to divine happiness have been performed by you. Ascend the celestial aerial chariot and go to heaven to enjoy the pleasures in the company of celestial damsels and fulfil your cherished desires.

Shiva Purana 5.7.45-46
Foremost of Apsaras, numbering by thousands, go out with great speed (for receiving the spirit of the slain hero) coveting him for their lord

Mahabharata 12.98.46-51

But you support politicians and movements which want to revive Hindu culture while proclaiming to be an atheist at the same time. I don't see Muslim apostates trying to keep their feet in both camps, they will just reject Islam wholesale and not try to represent it with a more wholesome image which is more compatible with the modern era. This is what you do in my opinion. If you want to reject caste, sati and other evils from ancient Hindu lore, then you should simply adopt Buddhism. Then your Sanatana dharma will not have you twisting yourself in knots trying to align incompatible ideas.
