Did Zakir Naik's recent praise of Hindus and India break the myth of 'minorities are unsafe' in India?

So Zakir Naik recently in Pakistan criticized PIA heavily for baggage allowance and praised India. He said "If anyone sees me in India, even a non-Muslim will let me in for free. This is India". He also went onto say, Modi maybe bad but India is a country with great value.

Will the 'minorities are unsafe in India' brigade will now listen to Mr. Naik and agree that Indian muslims enjoy full freedom in that country?

If we are to believe him then it shows a couple of things:

It shows the online ranting from Indians isn't reflective of the general public opinion. It's clear ( if we believe Zakir) that he has tremendous support from Hindus. I wonder why the government has banned him then?

Secondly it confirms Modi is bad.

When a person speaks about something in uncomfortable places, he is generally telling the truth.

Praising India by standing in Dushman mulk meaning he really meant what he said about India and the treatment he gets there.

Public was visibly upset and so Zakir Naik tried to play to the gallery by sneaking in Modi's name just to make the crowd happy. He obviously didn't mean it.

However most people here including a lot of IK fans seem to think it’s a great idea to invite a controversial fugitive like him and think that will fix the issues. Thats the takeaway, not some whining about baggage fees.

He doesn’t roam around the world freely. He is banned entry in Bangladesh, Srilanka and UK. 2 of them are neighboring countries considering he is Indian citizen and UK which has a huge subcontinent or if you want to break it down further Islamic diaspora.

In Bangladesh and Srilanka because it was alleged that his provocative talks is what motivated some of the terrorist acts.

Similarly in UK he was banned entry as seen as potential toxic threat.

I would assume Pakistan is the last place where there is already a stigma about religious fundamentalism, he would be the right brand ambassador. However that is not my concern.

Most of these bans were initiated without any involvement by Indian government. He was banned in UK from 2012
