Imam, Fakhar and Babar are all Super consistent and keep producing match winning performance. They have been doing this for years. All 3 of them are ranked in top 10 at the moment.

They are up there but the perception is built on a lot of home turf and low stakes series performances. Imam and Fakhar aren’t iconic and reputed enough to warrant for such a tag. Babar Azam is quite clearly the heart and soul of this trio and he himself drakes with criticism for his style of play all the time.

Yes.

India's top 3 is out of form as they rely on the Koffee With Karan Duo and Jadeja to win games for them currently.

England are arguably more explosive but Roy has been past his prime so they are lacking a bit there in consistency.

Imam, Fakhar and Babar are arguably the best top 3 going around in the world.

too early to say... cant judge against a weak team in 1 game... give it a whole series atleast, wish they had tougher series... that middle order is as hollow as it can get... and mashallah our bowling isnt looking all that great...

This opinion may change after the next game!

I probably still take any two of Jason Roy/Johnny Bairstow/Alex Hales + Joe Root

Top 3 is well settled and one of the strongest, but if they go out cheaply , this team can be bundled under 150

Yes, they have become far more dominant since the last WC. Fakhar back in form, Imam has come on leaps and bounds with a healthy SR.

Don't confuse white-ball formats, Babar is still the ODI king.

I'm hoping they will make a big splash at the WC.

What a beautiful thread, I’m gonna have fun with this one.

If it was Roy and Hales opening against this weak bowling attack on the same ground, they’d have chased the target down in 35 overs Max.

I didn’t even know Daryl Mitchell could bowl.

These series’ against C teams are going to backfire, I predict an early round exit in the WC.

Pakistan has probably the 2nd best top 3. First spot goes to England with Roy, Bairstow and Root.

They need to prove more against top sides by winning games against Eng, Aus and India

A very consistent and experienced top 3 plus they're all ranked in the top 10 so yes they're the best at the moment. Our WC hopes rely heavily on these 3. If any one of the three play a long inning we tend to score around 300. Hoping they all don't have a bad game together.

Babar is the best ODI #3 Pakistan has ever had.

Fakhar and Imam are the best ODI openers Pakistan have ever had not counting Saeed Anwar, but both have time on their side to surpass him.

You have to be a total fool to argue that is not the best top three Pakistan have ever had.

They are solid top 3 , if the middle order backs them on Asian conditions , these three can do well.

Fakhar needs to perform now, otherwise the top 3 look good to me.
