Do Pakistanis have a bad reputation, and if so, why?

If you get rid of Bradford and Sheffield in the UK, and also pretend that we do not have a mirpuri population then I'd say British Pakistani's have the best reputation amongst all communities globally !

I already knew you were from Bengal, I wasn't talking about you when I mentioned North Indians. In Britain there are quite a few Punjabi Indians, in fact I grew up with a fair few so know them pretty well.

Pakistanis have been raised with a culture of " you are all that there is ". The parents for the most part do not prepare children for the real world and instead cuddle them in their own. They send them to Non-Muslim schools and than are terrified to find out they have been influenced by their Non-Muslim friends. The son is the mentor to the parent. The parent's need to educate, inform, and analyze with precise scrutiny every aspect of their children's lives. They raise them in a state of confusion to the point where they are neither Pakistanis in Pakistan or Foreigners in their residence abroad. They do not consider their foreign residence home so why should their foreign neighbors consider them citizens of that nation state? Pakistanis love to complain about politics while sipping on chai and chewing Super biscuits but they would rather turn the other cheek on a traffic violation than advocate for a less corrupt society. They think of Islam as a superstition and the men only remember it when they want to get married a second time. The welfare system in England has made them increasingly lazy. The British left the subcontinent in 1947 yet they came back to England and have the audacity to not even work for a living while criticizing the government. They need to change themselves, their habits, their ethics, and than look to change society.

Yep look at Scotland full of Super affluent Pakistanis with a better reputation than Jews.

We spoke English, I grew up with a few who went to the same school. The parents spoke in Punjabi so if I saw one of them I'd come out with the old "Oye ki haal eh Uncle? Sab teek ai?"

He'd say something like "fit-faat puttar...tu sanaa!" and such like.

Mirpuri;s don't have the best rep but we probably should avoid generalisations plus the ones I know always make me the best chicken and chips I can find in the city, we can make them for sheffield though but they don't just have an issue specific to British Pakistani's because the lot of them are a bunch of thickos in general just look at Kell Brook

Dont believe all the **. The US has openley been arming these same radicals in Syria and Libya. In these two nations it's totally open and official, you can guess the rest of their history.
