Do you think he would have been effective on this tour if he wasn't injured and would you include him the team moving forward? If so, who would he replace?

He is pretty reliable compared to the other options on display, a better option than Ruman. His inclusion in the ODI team played a major role in the revival of our fortunes in the CT.
You were just asking for wicket taking bowlers in the other thread.
What I think people don't get about Junaid is that he has solid fast bowling basics locked down, AND NO I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PACE. The guy has a knack of determining what exactly to bowl at what times and how to utilize all his bowling tools. He may be (now) a 135kph medium pacer however, he knows how to bowl yorkers, how to reverse a ball, how to use cross seam and so on and so forth.
Hopefully not. He is average.
I think I'm familiar with your views on him and his inability to generate pace or swing but whatever the reason, he still seems to be effective. You can't deny that he is much better than Ruman. For all the hype, there was no difference between him and Amir in 2017. Obviously Amir is more talented (if that even means anything at this point), but Junaid can be a useful utility player.
However, I will say that what we really need is a genuine pace bowler that can consistently bowl above 90 MPH
Junaid would have been smashed on these pitches and small boundaries with his back of length trundling. He has no pace, cannot swing the ball a centimeter, and is only effective when the ball reverses, which no longer happens in ODIs.
He can be useful occasionally on abrasive surfaces. Pretty much an inferior version of Umar Gul - good when things are going his way, but a hack and a captain's nightmare when the batsmen take him on.
In truth, Rumman, Junaid and Fahim are all very ordinary bowlers. You can play any of the three as your third seamer, and the difference is going to be marginal.
I agree with you that we need an explosive 150 kph fast bowler who is not brainless like Wahab. Pakistan's bowling attack is going nowhere at the moment.

JUnaid should replace Amir and Shinwary should replace Rummon
