Does Pakistan's poor performance during the NZ/Aus tour require a PCB inquisition?

I am surprised that we dont hear any clamour for coach's head and a call to reform domestic cricket etc.

If this was Waqar Younis incharge then we would hear no end to the calls for public inquiry, wholesale changes etc

In fact with the omission of Umar and Ahmed Shehzad, there isnt anyone to blame for everything wrong.

So we are left with 5 villains do distract ourselves with:

1. Misbah
2. YK
3. Yasir Shah
4. Wahab Riaz
5. Amir

I expect parliamentary resolutions and experts former cricketers to be queuing up to have a go at each of the above but the real question is if PCB will wash some laundry in public or not.

Lulz, why are we acting like this is the first time we are getting white washed down under? And if I remember correctly the last time Australians were in Dubai they werent setting the world on fire either.

Coz after a long time Pak lost to Kiwis, guess since 1984.

We want answers from the PCB

The PCB receive their fair share of criticism, but when the chairman speaks to the press in the way that he has, and the CEO has made the statements he has, its difficult to feel they are hard done by.

As armchair fans, the debate constantly rages on information we dont really have. Why a favourite player has been overlooked, why a player not liked is constantly favoured and so on. Even with inside information on selection policy, strategy and theory, many of us will continue to debate the application of that information.

But sometimes there are gaping holes of knowledge that are beyond debate. And I suppose we are fortunate in many ways to be on PP which has a history of superb access to management and cricketing professionals.

Many of us would want to ask many questions to the people in charge, and it will be a job just filtering through those. But I'm hoping that this thread might be a repository for some of them.

My question comes after watching a recent interview with Muhammad Asif where he mentioned that someone in the PCB had bought a very large number of sub standard balls that were then having to be utilised at the professional level. This obviously causes immense problems. Firstly, fledgling players will have problems adjusting to world standard balls if they are selected, and secondly, bowling skills cannot be developed if you have to bowl with an orange after ten overs.

So the question I hope that PP can have answered is that who in the board was responsible? As much as we can all agree and battle on this player and that, ultimately the team will continue its steep descent in stature simply because of the ineptitude of management, and its really the responsibility of the fan base to focus its attention where it should be focussed and demand some accountability and answers!

Best Interview of Pakistan Cricketer I saw in last 7 years.

Genius.

Did you watch that explanation of bowling closer to the stumps ? Batsman not having time to pick length early ?

Asif told that the pink ball usef is as worst. B, C grade Pink ball which dies after 10 overs.

10 overs baad phuss/khatam.

I don't know about any inquisition.

But I have a request to all pcb media persons , chairmen , captains and coaches. Please do not say in every interview that bowling is our strength and our bowling attack is lethal , its laughable really and embarrassing.

Pakistan have been whitewashed:

3-0 in South Africa.
2-0 in New Zealand.
3-0 in Australia.

PCB Inquisition result: The team doesn't like the southern hemisphere.

How about Hafeez, Anwar Ali, Gul, MD Sami, Kamran? It will be continous

Everybody is a Home Track Bully these days, Pakistan isn't any different.

Nobody else combusts after (yet another) away loss, why are Pakistan looking to do so?
