There will be a very tough ICC report on this pitch for sure and that in turn may result in groundsmen in SA to become bit more conservative in their preparation.

Could this be the end of the batsmen's graveyard type pitches in South Africa?

I hope not, This is in reality done to unleash their 5 man pace attack on india, to avenge 2015 series. But for me, this makes compelling view. Even if india lost tomorrow, this is one hell of the match. I hope Sa continue to make this type of pitches but then they have to get ready to deal it too

They will be more careful in future but South Africa will always have bouncy and quick wickets. Wickets aren't always prepared to be bouncy or fast, its a natural process due to the conditions of the country.

Non, it's a kneejerk reaction. This wicket would definitely get a bad grade from the referee, but that doesn't mean that South African groundsmen would be instructed to produce the flat roads that we see in Australia.

I hope so for this winter.

They can go back to spicy pitches after that :P
