I got it way back when it was released - best cricket game out there in my opinion.

Better than Brian Lara and ICC Cricket where you can just stand and hit every ball for 6.

I wanna get DBC 2k17 but will need to get a PS4 or XBox 1 first

May get the PC version once its released...

But sometimes I just want to bat like boom boom dammit! nah I will defo be getting it at some point, I've read up on all the features when it came out and think it's fantastic the initiative they've taken to make the game as realistic as possible but their developer is a douche and their games are way too expensive when they don't offer the same value as other high end games but the price for DB14 has come down now

The PC version tends to release like a year later, so when 2k18 comes out you can buy 2k17 for PC that's what they've been doing in recent times. You wanted the 4K and all with the xbox to be honest bro it's all a marketing ploy I don't think the difference in quality will be significant be it an xbox or ps4 depending on what you're after, just get a standard ps4 slim and buy a 4K TV instead. Man 2k 17 is not like the old wwe games it's a proper simulation, in my first couple of matches I've already lost to stephanie MeekMan and Alberto Del rio ) the gameplay mechanics are amazing, it takes a while to learn how to use the shovel

Yea didn't know about the developer - however, its a top notch game and since you can download teams, you can play with Boom Boom all you want and (somewhat) work your way around the licensing issue

Yea I'm not fussed up the resolution & even graphics TBH. I just want good game play.

I agree on the CEO part btw. That guy is a real douche bag and has this false sense of entitlement. They made this cricket game for mobile "Big Bash something". Total garbage and the game is broke because i could swipe up to every ball and it went for a six. Guess what, on one certain cricket gaming forum, the same game was being praised to the sky.

Cricket in PS VR would be unreal. Danger ball shows that there is potential.

DBC 14 on Pro Cam without ball tracking and ball trailing felt just as if i'm batting in the nets, with limited shots and no pain of getting with the ball. I could also swing the bat much quicker and hit further in the game as well . I only played carreer and only on Pro Cam, never on any other cams. I'm shocked to see none of the game plays on youtube has player using the Pro Cam. The ball also came much faster.

PSVR is at the very initial age, it is going to be epic in another 5 years. I first experienced it 2 years ago before the whole VR mania and I was mind blown by the demo I experienced.

The guy is nuts lol. His fangirls are worse, attacking everyone complaining and moaning. Saw few trying to defend BigAnts for not having a trailer earlier lol. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your work, but if it sucks to the public, then that is that. Everyone works hard, but if your proud is trash, then it is trash. No one cares about how hard they worked. if they are going to charge more than an AAA game is charging, they better have license.

I bought the n64 controller off some jobber on ebay so i could connect it to my laptop and play but it was a bit dodgy the joystick, wrestlemania 2000 was my baby although No Mercy was better. That console was the greatest, so many revolutionary games.

With DB14 you can't go about batting like Afridi can you you have to get your eye in and play with a straight bat BOOOORING! I will be buying it though

True they do get boring and to be honest I got bored of UFC (always feel fight night series was better) on me cousins ps4 and I only played it a few times, I like WWE games though you'll never get bored

Try UFC on mobile. It's tough because you will have to build your fighters and play online to get rewards. Give it a try.

Mobile games are very shallow. Their gameplay does not have depth et all. Dont see how they can outlast a console based game.

I know but UFC is very much like a console game. If you are into those type of games you will like it.

I've been curious by overwatch it is critically acclaimed but the user reviews on metacritic have not been all that, is it similar to borderlands? i loved that game

I should have got overwatch during black friday there were some really good deals, i still have infinite warefare sealed may sell that and get overwatch. Will check their channels out, yeah video reviews are alright I usually watch the ign ones. If you play at a lower difficulty everything is easy to hit for 6, in my career mode I had a SR of 210 in FC matches because of the lower difficulty, it gets boring though. Also noticed that you never get out to an edge, played 60-70 matches in DBC14 too and I always found the slip fielders to be useless.

Saw a lot of Overwatch, reminds me of Halo but I don't find FPS games that fun so I just ignored it. I play on Pro, I think it goes Rookie-Amateur-Pro-Hard-Legendary. At first, I wasn't confident at all and could get past 40 so I played on Rookie, but after you get better at the game and your career guy gets better in skill points, it gets too easy, so I changed to Pro.

In career mode you get two boosts in difficulty. This quote is from one of the developers, it explains it pretty well.

The idea of the difficulty jump is to keep it consistent with two things. Your rise in skill (if you're doing well, your skill is going up, thus you're also being selected for higher forms of cricket) as well as your rise in selection status.

We have two jumps in difficulty. One is based on your first Helmet increase, the 2nd is based on your selection to International cricket. At most the difficulty will only ever rise by two levels.

I suggest starting with Amateur, then changing it to Pro, Rookie is just too easy. If your doing career mode, definitely start with Amateur, because as I've mentioned before, you'll eventually be playing on Hard due to the difficulty increase.

Yea WM2000 was good but NM just stepped it up a gear.

DBC is good considering it's from an indie developer. Started careers. Playing for Gulberg in the Lahore Region starting as a club cricketer :Azhar: . It is good but the arcadey feel of it can be really annoying at times.

Came across this video on YT. Had never heard of International cricket before. This was a sequel to the Brian Lara series. For a game that came out in 2010 this looks really good. I wonder why they never followed up on this. Besides the obvious cartoonish mechanics at times some of the little details are spot on. A next gen sequel with a bit of tweaking here and there could be huge.

Can someone take me through step by step. The player names for the standard international teams one of my friends sorted out for me so don't know how Thanks

Well In 14 you had to go to the don bradman academy and go on replace all teams. However what I did to get 3 or 4 new players was I went on the online community option and downloaded specific players from there by searching their names and then added them to a squad I wanted them in.

If you have Don Bradman 14 then don't get DBC 17. Batting is virtually identical and bowling isn't that much better.

Wait for it to be heavily discounted. I've just run into a bug in career mode where I got called up by Warwickshire but every time I try and play my first game for them the game crashes. Every. Single. Time.

I'm gonna contact Microsoft and get a refund because this is unacceptable for a full price game.

I have had similar crashing problems but not in career mode. It has happened around 4-5 times in all at different times. Has there been any bugs/crashes reported with the game officially I wonder

Yep, the fact that EA is making the game really increases my hopes.

Still play the timeless EA Cricket '07.

DBC17 is worse than DBC14. My favorite is still Ashes Cricket 2009. AC09 was of the rare games that made bowling fun.

With the recent updates its pretty good. In my opinion, the best cricket game by far. There's a learning curve for sure but its fun and definitely the most realistic so far.
