Arthur made Azhar Ali our permanent Test opener and took the long overdue decision to promote Asad Shafiq. Arthur introduced Sami Aslam and Sohail Khan who were rotting on the sidelines under Waqar and those two made a huge difference on that England tour.

Misbah has had a lot of influence no doubt but Waqar also deserves credit, he was just sitting on his bum doing nothing; if he did then show us proof, if you disagree then you are also undermining Micky Arthers opinion so in the end I win because Mickey you have a strong bias in favour of him anyhow Mickey I see as the better coach am the objective one in this instance and I have no issue in admitting that but I wouldn't go as far to say Younis did nothing for our test team and unbeaten record in uae
