An eight-year-old drag queen is taking the scene by storm after discovering the practice at the age of seven.

Montreal mini queen Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden has been catching the eyes of drag artists across the globe since his alter-ego Lactatia appeared onstage with Ru Paul's Drag Race star Bianca del Rio on her Werq the World drag tour earlier this summer.

Growing up: The young boy says he believes he has had his alter-ego, Lactatia 'inside of me since I was born'

Girl married off in vani to avenge couple’s marriage

LAYYAH: A 10-year-old girl was married off to a 17-year-old boy on Wednesday to avenge the court marriage of a couple in Darkhan locality of Karor tehsil.

Karor police have registered a case and arrested nikah khwan Hafiz Atique Usmani, witness Bilal Ahmed and a panchayat member Jehangir.

Last week, girl ‘R’ of Darkhan had contracted court marriage with ‘U’ of Daphi locality. Afzal, father of the girl, asked for a panchayat. Councillor Ghulam Husain called a panchayat at the outhouse of landlord Muhammad Asif. The local jury arranged marriage of 10-year-old sister of ‘U’ with 17-year-old brother of the girl ‘R’.

Police have registered a case under section 292, 310a, 506 of PPC against nikah khwan Atique, councillor Ghulam Husain, landlord Asif and five others.

Investigation Officer SI Faiz Muhammad told Dawn that police had arrested the nikah khwan, witness Bilal Ahmed and panchayat member Jehangir.

The ‘vani’ girl, ‘S’, appeared in the court of local magistrate and recorded her statement under section 164. She told the court that she contracted marriage on her free will and police were allegedly harassing her family.

SI Faiz said landlord Asif and councillor Ghulam Husain had got pre-arrest bail from the court while raids were on for the arrest of others.

Jirga marries off 3-year-old girl to settle family dispute in Neelum Valley

A jirga in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (AJK) Neelum Valley, in order to settle a dispute, had a three-year-old girl married to a nine-year-old boy which police claim to be a case of Vani.

Athmuqam Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammad Farooq said the jirga in the nearby village decided to marry off Aurangzeb's daughter to Mohammad Younis's son in order to settle a dispute between the two.

Aurangzeb, who filed the First Information Report (FIR) with the area police, alleged that Younis had accused him of cheating with his wife and had demanded Rs500,000 from him as penalty if he were to absolve Aurangzeb of the alleged misconduct.

However, since Aurangzeb was unable to come up with the amount, Younis allegedly bribed the area police and had him jailed.

"That is when the jirga gathered and got my daughter married to Younis's son to settle the dispute," the petitioner alleged, claiming that his father conceded to the jirga's demand following which the marriage was solemnised.

Aurangzeb also claims that he was "forced" to give his thumbprint impression on the document the jirga prepared.

The document states that if Aurangzeb married his daughter to Younis's son, all allegations against him would be withdrawn, he would not have to pay the amount asked for and that he would not be sent to jail again.

"However, things did not go as planned and I could not send my daughter away," he claims.

The Athmuqam SHO said six out of the fifteen people who allegedly participated in the jirga have been taken into custody.

Three of the six arrested include Younis, the girl's grandfather and the cleric who solemnised the marriage.

The marriage was not registered, said the police official, adding that the police is still looking for the others accused in the case.

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has taken notice of the incident.

I don't intend to have children but if I did, I'd much rather my son be able to chose how he identifies himself than be brainwashed by some warped religion with a joke of a moral code like the one that we have in Pakistan.

Western Liberalism at it's best . This is how most of the Homosexuals and other confused deviants are created in the society.

Won't be surprised if the Boy decides to opt for a Sex change in the future because he was always a Girl trapped inside the boy of a Boy, and that will be the happiest moment for his/her/its Proud Parents.

What if your son or daughter select religion over atheism and what if they select Islam as religion?
