England (184/7) fight from the brink to avoid a major shock and beat an inspired Nepal (180/6) by 4 runs

A team like Bangladesh with so called Test status would not have pushed England this hard in this pitch.

Congrats, Nepal.

Bad game out of the way for Rashid and England hopefully. England remain a force to be reckoned with this tournament and I fancy them to at least get to the semis.

Great game of cricket would have loved Nepal win here over england. This match again proves associate nations cannot be taken on lighter note
:kp

Credit to Nepal. They have some serious power hitters. With more exposure they can be a dangerous side.
They can only hit legsideish and that too not very big hits.
They need to learn and play behind the wicket aswell. Curran was bowling too full all the time.

Well played, Nepal. On one hand, there’s a team that has stayed minnows for decades, bringing nothing to the table except tamasha. On the other, there’s Nepal, just a whisker away from taking down a Big Three nation.

Look at how professional these SENA commentators are, and then compare them with our commentators, whose mood and style completely change depending on whether our team wins or loses. Hamare wale toh poori mayiat macha dete hain. :yk :inti

I can see Nepal growing into good cricketing nation . All home grown talent . Tough mentally . The land of sherpas will produce strong talent . 🇳🇵

There is another team that remained minnows for many decades. :rabada2 :inti

All the off field political shenanigans in the worldcup putting a dent on the World Cup

Lord Jay Steve Cameron Shah makes even minnow games exciting 🤣.

We were not aware of your game bapu 🙏

Wow what a game!! Pulsating stuff, electric atmosphere! 👍 The Nepalese contingent supported their team brilliantly! Fearless cricket. Was a matter of just one hit being the difference. For me- the best game of this WC so far , great entertainment and exhibition..👍
The World Cup has been great so far 👏🏼, salute to BCCI for the pitches. 160-180 is the best kind of T20 matches

Best think about Nepal Vs US and Holland is it's all homegrown players. They deserve a lot of credit for how well they have done well in cricket and even have their own premier league with their own Nepalese owners of the team.

I think the whole world apart from England was willing then over the line.

Bangladeshi players must be frustrating by watching it

After the Ashes debacle, if Eng had lost this, the English tabloid media would have been brutal with the Eng cricketers, Baz and Brooks and would have raked them over the coals with the Noosa memes boozy memes lol ! Luckily Sam curran saved them here from that..🙂

England's pathetic bowling nearly cost them the game. Like I said before it may look like a good bowling attack on paper but in actuality that isn't really the case. Good teams will plunder them on good batting wickets.

The Nepalese were unlucky not to get over the finish line. But full credit to them for putting up such a spirited performance

Got to give the Indian crowds some credit for sure. Even the Afghan game was well followed.
The Afg and Nep games actually felt like home games for them. Was actually surprised seeing the crowd support. Didnt want a repeat of the 23 odi WC with neutral games having sparse crowds. And I think it's because its a t20wc and not odi wc where the associates have a lesser chance. T20 kinda reduces that gap and in turn gives us more excited games..👍

It's a different attack when Adil Rashid comes to the party. But if he goes missing, there are no other real bankers in that attack.
