Eoin Morgin missed on a well deserved century when he was caught by Malinga on 92 (91 balls) off his own bolwing. Root also did well to score yet another half century 71 of 83 balls before falling of to Dhananjaya de Silva.

Mo Ali is the is the weirdest spinner I've seen recently. He is great in English conditions but becomes a dud in the SC. What gives?

Same with most other non Asian spinners. They use their body more, having brought upon non responsive pitches. That will help them get the correct pace to bowl on those conditions. Asian bowling requires other skills like flight, turn, non turn etc.
