Azhar can't win it alone, he has never done it. He doesn't know how to hit big shots, he doesn't know how to rotate strike, all he can do is block block and block. The best he can do is score 25 of 25 overs.
 
If Azhar has anything about him then he should guide this victory through. Come on, prove some of us wrong

I think they should take chance with Naseem as he can hit some big shots, than they can shut the shop or else if they already given up hopes of wim why they didn't send Zahid, thick tank at it again.
 
Frankly Babar doesn't deserve to be on the winning team after requesting a lifeless pitch, a shocking selection of Zahid over Abrar, playing only 4 specialist bowlers, and negative batting the moment we're under the slightest pressure.

Our talent pool is poor, but it's so dispiriting watching Pakistan under him. Our whole mindset and strategy smacks of an inferiority complex against the bigger teams.
 
Salman averages 39 in FC no? Why are people surprised that he got out in the 30s? He did exactly what he’s capable of. .

I am sorry but in my books that is another gift...the have a leg side slip...they are bowling leg stump...the ball is reversing and you play that shot...doesnt matter if it is a good catch or not.

Shocking that Robinson has been able to get more reverse swing than Naseem, Rauf and Ali. Shaun Tait hasn't really added much to our bowling.

Test Match bowling is an art and needs the hard yards of domestic cricket. No international coach can change things.
 
The fact we set out to hang on at the start of this session really tells you the difference.

Azhar's dismissal was extremely poor especially in this situation and with all his experience.
 
Losing the game by playing attacking cricket is acceptable any day instead of losing by playing whole match in survival mode

England would have chased this down in 55-60 overs.
 
People on this forum were getting way too emotionally sucked in to the prospect of a win.
86 runs in 20 over with 5 wickets and Azhar at the crease was way too much.
It's like you guys don't know the limits of our team.

If we are going to see more flat tracks for the next 2 test then just beef up the brittle batting line up

Still remember kohli going for the win in Adelaide in his first series as captain in 2014. He lost the game but went on to create history in Australia later on
