1. They are due a bad game
2. Our mediocre middle order [Azam, Hafeez, Malik] is due some runs
3. if we drop Imad and play shadab instead and ask Shadab to bowl to take wickets rather than contain
4. We promote Fahim, Sarfraz up on the order
5. We take our half chances [catches and run outs]
6. Englands strength becomes a weakness [overconfidence to blast themselves out of any situation could be their undoing]
7.Decisions go our way....

we may surprise England [Remember 1983 world cup final India were even bigger underdogs yet they pulled it off]

Nothing to lose, everything to gain
Enjoy the game

Good spirit. No need of pessimism a day before the game.

They are favourites but no where near as big as everyone seems to think. Every chance Pakistan pulls off the upset. Especially if Sarfraz wins another toss and bowls first.

To be honest, all the points make sense. We can certainly give a good fight tomorrow. Remember fortune also favors the brave.

Underdogs yes, but we did beat WI in the group stages that WC

I have been following this forum since 2014 and I have never seen a optimistic Mamoon. You come across as a glass half empty guy.

Could this be a sign for what's to come tomorrow?

Same here I have never seen [MENTION=131701]Mamoon[/MENTION] this much positive

Well there is no point in being hopeless before a match, you won't be able to enjoy the match and make objective analysis.

England are absolutely ripe for an upset ..... their fans are taking it for granted that England will win for sure !!!!! Maybe. We should not get cowed by all the off field stuff. I am sure our guys have been through such a situation before, so that is comforting.

Cardiff is a low scoring wicket... Pakistan must play all Seamers and Spinners to win including Faheem, Shadab, Imad, Hafeez, Aamer, Junaid, and Hasan.

England are due a failure , need to get hales and root out early and then choke the rest with spin.

My English colleagues at work seem to think they will run over us ...... time to prove them wrong,

It is going to spin and England don't play spin well.

Pakistan's game to lose tbh

I think only one of Imad or Shadab should play. I'd rather have Shadab as a specialist spinner and a specialist batsman (Harris) to replace Imad to strengthen up the weak batting line up a little bit.

Do you realize, too many ifs?

Don't know why India 1983 keeps getting a mention, understand that before the tournament we were but in the tournament we defeated Windies twice,so before England or West Indies faced us,they already knew we could defeat them.

So.... We are facing England.... It will he easier this time to defend the trophy.

60% England. 40% Pak. Heart says Pak but head is with England.

ugh. Just do one if conditional and use ands. :P

Hey man be optimistic. Don't forget, before the tourney, pak was just a number making up the 8th team. Most predicted, Ind-Sa-Aus-Eng to play the semis. Instead we got Ind-Eng-Pak-Ban. No one even thought that both Pak and BD would win anything, let alone make the semi finals.
