Hope Eng win this one to give them a false sense of confidence and security before Babar Azam and Amir crush them to the ground.

Jordan in for Ali and Vince in for Hales who is rested after his injury last game.e

Let's get this series over so the proper main event can begin vs a much better team

Vince brings up his 50 in his first ODI innings, England's depth means he will be dropped for their next odi in all likelihood.

will be very disappointed if Root doesnt score big today!!! if he want to a gun ODI player he has to keep accumulating

Butler is an aggressive bat and it's good to see him becoming consistent in odi format. He should come at 4-5 and no less than that.

Buttler has unreal talent. Perfectly good yorker from Pradeep but hits it to the boundary with those quick hands and powerful bottom hand.

Cardiff is a slow surface, best bet for England seamers is to take pace off the ball.

Root should get his century today. He has been hit and miss in this series.

Such a toothless ODI bowling attack without Prasad, Chameera and Herath.

Root again misses out on 100. He will remain like this. I have a feeling he will be a hit and a miss at times and when in form may still fail to smack consecutive 100s for this reason only.He might miss out being an ATG and will end up merely as a great batsmen on the lines of Cook and Pietersen.Hopefully, he gets his form back against Pak and does well vs Amir and co.

Doesn't look like SL are gonna win a single match all tour. Seriously poor series.

Only positive for SL again is Gunathilaka's consistency. Kusal Mendis has thrown his wicket once again without actually letting England take it from him. This is a good sign. Lol at the new 30 year old fast bowling debutante, might have played his first and last international game. Negative is everything else lol.

This is why SL players are so intelligent, Lakmal asks for a new bat and the bench warmer brings him a bottle of water

not a single win on the tour so far!!! 1 t20 to come hope they can go home with a win!!! very poor tour rain saved brought them 1 washout and a draw oresle it would have been complete whitewash

Sri Lanka had a real failure to convert starts into big knocks this series.

12 players made half centuries but not one made 80 let alone 100.

Sad result. SL can't win a game and they haven't even played that badly. They were quite unlucky at times.

Lol really :uakmal

Not surprised from a team where half the players still ball watch while running.

If I remember correctly they were all scored by Gunathilaka, Mendis, Mathews, Chandimal and one by Prasanna. Gunathilaka and Mendis are new, in fact I think Kusal Mendsi has only one century even in FC and List A combined. Prasanna is a hack, so lets ignore him. Chandimal has hit 4 50s in a row, he should have converted at least one of them into a century. Mathews comes too late.

I'd rather watch a game of aerial ping pong than watch SL play these days.

damn didnt even know there was a game on last night

Probably for the best eh chief :uakmal

Any ways congrats Eng thoroughly deserved. Since the WC they have been brilliant in all formats.
