England Lions beat Pakistan A in Tri-Series by 7 wickets

Sharjeel has played really well, even wickets were falling but he keeps going with his game. His comfort against pace makes him good candidate for test as well in western conditions, specially Australia and SA. [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

Is this real? Hackjeel can get a double today & it's a authentic List A match.

I can only appreciate, but need to close the game now.

Ok, still a great knock. The tail should stroll at 5/over at lest to post 275+

he must be tired , remember he made 90 runs yesterday against srilanka

The legside hack gets 125! Either Basit has done some magic or the England bowlers were too dumb to work him out.

Which one is it? I am really curious.

Bhatti shouldn't be anywhere near the A team. A poir mans right arm Wahab Riaz.

Poor mans right arm Wahab Riaz with the bat too. Terrible. Just, terrible.

Well played Bhatti - 2 of 12. He must have protected the tail as Tail Watch Man.

Why is Bhatti batting infront of Hasan Ali?

Why is he in the team first, then send him ahead of Hasan makes no sense... Butt or Yamin are not with A squad?

Just saw Yamin's twitter and he mentioned that he reached UK to join the A team in the ODI tri-series.

But Basit Ali has a special kind of love for Bilawal Bhatti and he will never drop him..

Bad performance with the bat. Hopefully the bowlers can drag us back in the game.

Hasan Ali has to step up his game from last match. Asghar and Nawaz have to keep it tight and pick up wickets at regular intervals.

The kind of collapse I expect from Pakistan. 191/4 to 244/10. Ended up losing 53/6. A shambles really.

An awesome knock by Sharjeel, but failure from rest of the players.

Let's hope our bowlers can win us this game.

Did you check the list of the bowlers? Did you check how our other players scored against same bowlers?

Today Sharjeel played carefully, did a good strike rotation also. Doesn't look like a full leg side hack.

I hope playing long innings gives Sharjeel an opportunity to get rid of his belly.

The more time he is on the pitch the less time he has to consume parathay..

as mentioned before Sharjeel is man among boys: 125 runs on 101 balls @ 123.76 strike rate with 12 fours and 7 sixes; only Pak batsman to score with 100+ strike rate

Mash Allah nazar na lag jayay bhaijaan ko, kaala tika lagao is ko :inti

Bhatti should stick to club cricket. Mediocre rubbish cricketer just like Anwar Ali

Good start from the bowlers and an early wicket for Hasan Ali.

Seems like an excellent new ball bowler, just what we need to partner Amir.

Just as I praise the bowling start, Muhammad Abbas gets dispatched for three boundaries in an over

Hasan Ali impressing with inzi watching in the crowd. These youngster beauties have a brain :msd

6 fours in the last two overs. Destroyed the good performance in the first 5 overs

Mashallah Bhatti is going 6 RPO in a low scoring game :14:. Is he Basit's son-in-law?

This is another aspect, which need to be addressed in our batting.

We need to be consistent, and look to avoid such collapses. Such a brutal contract in batting as compared to the last game.

Seems to me they get over confident after winning 2 games based on their batting. Not a good sign by any means.

Last 5 overs were really bad, where we leaked 37 runs for no wicket and worst of all at RR 7.4

The batting talent has looked okay on this tour. The bowling is a bit more mixed. Only Hasan Ali and Asghar I can say for certain should be in the next LO squad

Duck has destroyed the pakistani bowlers here. What phainty :133:

What happen to Eshan Adil? - He was contender for main 11 in test and now cannot fill in A team that too in England, sean was his strength. He was not bad in one day cup.

I think he should work on his muscle strength and also his action is a major problem.

He fall away as he is about to deliver the ball. If he can straighten that out, it will give him better direction and increase his pace. He has the tools it's all upto Ehsan.

Hamza Mir and Hasan Ali are ahead of him now!

There is a systematic program by ECB for sure to develop WK-batsmen & all 4 of them Bairstowe, Butler, Billings & this guy Duckett are explosive hitters (may be few others as well).

What hammering! :133:

Pakistani A team brought back to earth here and given a reality check.

This wicket also looks like a batting second wicket?

Ben Foakes is the next England wicket keeper.
Also adam wheater is a good prospect

Reality check for our boys. Defeats like these are so important in the transformation of a team.

All the guys who I had high hopes from failed.

Hasan, Saud, Asghar, Babar :( :( :(

I don't mind being blown out inside 36 overs; that can happen in these slog feast era. This is the reason why ODI is so boring these days - you are out of the game, within few overs. Teams start slogging from ball 1, targeting 350 - in that process, you lose 2/3 early wickets - what happened to SRL A yesterday or today PAK A, exactly things 'll repeat. But, if the slogging works, chasing 350, the opposite happens most times - 3 down for 60 in side 10 overs & then rest of the match is statistical exercise. This happens, when the balance of the game is distorted artificially - smaller grounds, batting belters, mallets instead of bat, free hits ....

Today, I don't blame PAK A bowling much - ENG A did exactly what a team with batting depth would do if the target is in sight - blast after couple of initial overs. This guy middled everything, so it became embarrassment; even 3/4 early wickets won't have won this match for PAK A.

But, this is very much typical PAK ODI team's performance - clueless. One batsman hitting 125 at 125 SR, still being all-out 7 overs (I know PAK A batted for 46 overs) before schedule is a crime. There was no partnerships & I am sure at least 3 or 4 wickets went down right after a boundary & there was a criminal offence - last recognised batsman being run-out (no TV reply, so it must be decisive enough for open eye, which indicates a misjudgement or mix-up). It ended up like ENG A would have chased 344; but, I think anything close to 300, it would have been a different ball game& PAK A had the chance to post that, even from 44/3 - just didn't plan accordingly. It's a shame that, one top order remained not out at one end & 6 wickets went down from other end for ~50 with 4 overs still to be bowled.

Poor performance, pathetic planning. And, I am sure Basit Ali didn't notice that, ENG A, had to bowl 3 of those 4 overs by a pair of bowlers who went for 1/125 in 17 Overs. LO cricket is not PAK team, in current environment - too dumb, outdated, obsolete & clue less.

Sorry for the harsh words.

Well this happens. Not a big deal. I just hope they learn from their mistakes.

Need Babar, Saud up the order.
