Indeed. Our bowlers don't have to be Brian Lara, but at least have the right technique - there'll be close Tests where you'll be relying on your tail-enders and every run counts.

But I know Pakistani mentality - "its not my job so why are you asking me to work on my batting ?" - need to change this mindset.

At least Yasir and Amir can produce 15s and 20s, though Amir's batting has regressed.

A few months ago I made fun of [MENTION=7774]Robert[/MENTION] for his suggestion that Woakes would be the new Anderson.

One of us looks foolish, as I predicted. Except I'm the foolish one.

Both teams has lots of positive to take. I think, PAK can't change their bowling options now, but should play Iftekhar for Shaan - that would suit the attack for Old Traford. But for ENG, Moeen, Finn has to go. Also, I don't think Stokes add much for Old Traford - Jimmy, Berbi, Wokes, Adil & a left Arm spinner.
