Let's see how Australia B go against England A.

This is one pathetic looking Australian lineup

You are missing the phainta hobbit ronchi is giving to lanka at the moment!

Good servant of WA cricket and would probably be playing as a batsman for the Scorchers

He'd easily make the side ahead of Haddin.

I can only conclude that Smiffy and the OZ want to practise chasing a big score. There's nothing in this wicket to suggest bowling first would provide an advantage.

care to share those non cricketing reasons? I want to see paine given another go and hopefully that useless wade is not coming back

Paine is a useless hack.

Those non cricketing reasons most relate to him being a senior player, Wade not being an acceptable back up and Clarke's injury record

Bell playing like a champ here. Moeen just owned Cummins with 3 consecutive sixes.

Someone tell Moeen that he is playing a 50 over game. Almost gave his wicket away, yet again. Talented player with great potential but he needs to be more responsible.

He is swinging his bat at everything, got lucky three times, three sixes, just swinging :afridi

Don't want to jinx them, but I think they can get 400.

Bell's just become England's top ODI run-getter, going past Paul Collingwood, who had 5092.

Getting sleepy. 350 will be the target IMO

This is way too many runs by England standards. Scorecard looks too good to be true. So I am currently reserving judgment.

Looks like Poms may win this one. It looks like India has no chance to reach the finals. Well it only convinces Dhoni to use the 2 games as a long nets session. Don't waste your time and money fans who are planning to go to SCG and Perth

A truly diabolical death innings by Bopara there. Gave Buttler absolutely no support, strike rate under 50, then got bowled round his legs by a full toss in the penultimate over. Cost England about 30 runs alone I'd say.

Probably not a sackable offence just yet, but a major rollicking surely. Ravinder will be hoping and praying that England don't lose now.

Was just going to post this.

I thought he was a useless choker so I am surprised to see him in your squad let alone team.

Poms should have done better than 304, Finch feasts on minnows.

Finch will be interesting. He normally scratches around a lot at the start and then gets himself out unless someone is keeping the runrate moving at the other end.

Shaun Marsh however also takes a while to get set.

Brilliant Ian Bell, my favorite batsman at the moment followed by Williamson and Rahane.

Or not

Australia haven't lost an odi series at home for over 4 years. Aussie fans can keep on slitting their wrists while they are at it.

Moeen bhai is turning out to be quite a disappointment, in spite of the PP beard brigade trying their utmost to make another Amla bhai out of him.

I think he's a mediocre and hit and miss cricketer, who is going to troll the England Test team for the next few years with his blessed-in-all-facets attitude like Watson and Hafeez. He's the third member of that exclusive club.

Will keep a much better batsman or two out of the team because he can bowl some off-spinners. Clearly not Test standard.

Very good in LOIs though, a proper dynamic player and someone England needed badly. Tremendous timer of the ball, one of the best in the world.

Another similarity with Hafeez.

Watson is a poor test cricketer, but the guy averages 40 with a strike rate of 90, and more than a handy bowler. Moeen or Hafeez bhai will do well to get anywhere near him, beard or without.

I've never rated Bopara but apparently some people do. Apparently they are also from the planet Earth, although I am not convinced

Watson is a top ODI performer no doubt, but even Moeen bhai and Hafeez make the ODI team on merit for their countries given their all-round skills.

Watson is comfortably the best of the three, but I'm not sure if Moeen bhai is better than Hafeez, clearly not a better ODI bowler though.
