bid Ali (WK)
Babar
Sarfaraz (needs time in the middle and has to take responsibility)
Asif (Lets try to give him a challenge to bat at 4 and see how he goes about his innings, he will obviously be better at 6 for us in WC but we need to present him challenges that he might have to face in the WC)
Immad (let's try him at 5 for one game and see how it pans out)
Malik (Try him as a finisher at 6 against pace bowling away from his comfort zone)
Hafeez (try him as an out and out hitter)
Faheem (battle for the 5th seamer in the 15)
Shaheen (He is young, give him some space, I am sure he will get better and be back to his best IA)
Hasnain (very raw, but potentially very lethal, I would like to have him in my 15 since we might lack the extra spice).
Hasan (Rested| has been good, but can't lead the attack on his own, and that is why he crumbled in the First 2 games, looked very potent with the new, and I would say that we should give him 3-4 overs upfront.
Amir (He is that pivot around which the bowling will revolve, he provides control and when others crumble, he is likely to be the man for us, the good thing about him is that pressure very rarely gets better of him)
Shaddy (24-carat gold, with him back in the side, we will be able to control the game in the middle overs with our spin trio of immad, hafeez and him, hopefully he will bowl well IA)
Junaid (battle for the 5th seamer in the 15)
I still feel that only one of Imam babar can play, and I am not saying that because I don't like Imam as a cricketer, it's just about team combination.
My WC side would be
Babar
Fakhar
Sarfaraz (he is awful these days, but it might be better to have at the top, than seeing him plunder those monstrous sixes at the back end, #bowlershallhavesomemercy
Shadab/Imad (depending upon the situation, if we loose 2 wickets inside the first 20 overs, than it should be shaddy warna I would use Immad as a pinch hitter to tonk spinners, his hitting ability after the 40th over isn't that convincing. Having Immad at 4 also maintains the L&R combination in the middle overs)
Malik
Hafeez
Asif
Shadab/Imad
Amir
Hasan
Shaheen/Hasnain
This series has provide the ideal preparation to our players, has told us a lot about our strengths and weaknesses, the batting has showed great potential to get big scores, and the bowling obviously will start making an impact when the whole unit is there. Pakistan will be an extremely good bowling side in this WC as a unit (shaddy hafeez in the middle would be vital. I guess hasan should now be getting the new ball, Amir will be our fail safe, and support our gun bowlers (i.e Hasan, shaheen (he still is imo, just needs to swing them like he did it on thos flat decks in SA).
Pakistan have shown great signs in this series, and they are the 2nd favourites after England in this WC.
Fielding has been a disappointment though, if only we can take our catches, we would be a tough nut to crack. I hope that we will see a much better effort in the field when shaddy is back IA
