When Strokes was walking back to pavilion Hopes of Millions of Pakistan cricket fans finally lit up and against all the wizardry of Probability, a Shock Pakistan Win was suddenly a tangible reality.
In comes butler and he along with the Classy and ever Dependable Root started to drill holes in that Equation and from soaring hopes to Deja Vu
the ghosts of Self doubt started to surround my mind and Pakistan team

Lose today" My heart begin to sink..
IF ever Pakistan Needed a Surface to bury all the jeeper creeper of the pounding it received from WI pacers than Trend bridge would have been their unanimous no.1 choice . Morgan did all the right things by including woods and sending Sarfaraz down and out Boys to face some chin music.
However Then surface and the self assured approach started to make Morgan looks a bit silly. One could see the sign of nervousness by 7th over as Pakistan raced towards a solid 50. Morgan new right their Perhaps playing by the surface and not by opposite reputation would have been the right approach.
The Positive on playing on Pancakes is that Pakistan top order has been in phenomenon Touch and with Hafeez back in the side the much vaunted late order flourish was taken care with some style.
Pakistan is champion of Mismanagement and Had Hafeez batted at no.5 or 6 for most of his career Pakistan ODI fortunes would have been very different. He possess the best game against an old ball has shots all round the wicket and most importantly is 2nd best player of short pitch bowling something you must posses in England.
Sarfaraz batting position can cost Pakistan dearly in this World Cup. He must not be batting in last 10 overs of the game. It has become painfully clear innings after innings watching his herculean Struggle to clear the ropes that he simply can't, Ropes don't lie
He must play at 4 which is the best Position for him as he can rotate strike and control middle overs. No.5 and 6 is a Specialist Position for Hitters in this age and days and Hafeez and 5 and Asif at 6 is non negotiable its in fact a crime
Lets hope he doesn't get carried away with his "scrape" today and think about how he fizzle out all the momentum in the crucial slog overs. Pakistan must look to See what England have done with Butler and start grooming Asif at no.6. This guy is the best natural hitter we have in our side at the moment.
Like most of the genius Selectors Pakistan has had misfortune of throughout its long frustrating history. Inzy was clear from the very onset that he will carry on the logic defying, sometime gravity defying horrendous selection and keep Pushing Pakistan deeper into the hole.
So, When Common sense has bled to death and fans started to tear their kidneys and toss them in oven out of frustration and Selectors have run their errands and maybe come a full meaningless circle the Eureka moment finally happened !!
Old boy's Aamir and Wahab. The two out three Recalled seniors wanted to have a piece of the history. Both looking down the barrel with a real threat of a Premature end of a great promise. Its said that Champions will always respond to greatest challenge or call of duty.
The SOS must have fired something into these two champion souls.
Though Aamir is hardly the same bowlers we have come to know. Has lost some pace and swing but he has always been very accurate and I could see reflection of Zafeer in him. Working withing his limitations using the guile, Variation and some luck. Style has been replaced by substance
How We all would like to see him unshackle himself and fly in wind but even half of Aamir is much better than many. Oh! He was that good
Wahab, is a Transformer and Greek God. He will Burst out from nowhere when Pakistan Needs him most. A World cup Freak show who goes to slumber for rest of the 4 long years and than Come the Biggest Tournament, lo and behold he will suddenly transform himself into a samurai and will bleed you dry by thousand cuts.
He looked the most threatening of the lot today. Pity Sarfaraz didn't keep
slips or he would have ended with a well deserved 5 wicket hall. He was the X factor of Pakistan bowling and he must be used as a pure wicket taker from now onward's
The positive is he looks fit and hungry. If ever Pakistan Down to dumps Pace attack needed an Inspiration he is our shinning knight, He can still leaks some runs but what a Sight he is to our sore eyes of Pakistani pride
where Pacers use to instill fear of gods in the opposite batter
The pride and the threat partially restored.
I am still not convinced about Malik spot in the Team. He should play against India but otherwise has very little to offer on these pitches and Pakistan must think hard about his who should come in going further
Pakistan Cricket is the most exciting sight when in full flow. This Tournament would have been poorer without these bunch of Talented blokes thrilling the world with their Mercurial display for firework
They have truly lit up this world cup and millions of hopes.
Watching Rampaging Butler to slice it Wahab in the Gully or Witnessing the Ragged champ Wahab gulping Two English batsmen to Put all the doubts to rest. I was suddenly filled with Hope and shivering with that
rare excitement.
