We have been told that these wickets are result of dry summer and how this warm weather is helping Indian spinners(looking at you James Taylor and TMS), but after the result of T20 series and the last ODI is it possible that in next matches, England pitches will have much more for the faster bowlers? While changing the nature of wickets for the remaining ODIs might not be possible because of time constraints, we could see England preparing green tops for the test matches.
And if they do, the grass may die out soon owing to the hot weather and the pitches may turn out to be similar to Lords 2014 where the grass turned brown on second day. In that case, team bowling first will have huge advantage.
So, what do you think? Will there be grass on the wickets or will they most likely be similar to what we saw last night?
