I really don't like Dele Alli. :wenger

Why, he was brilliant tonight?

Spurs were energetic, brave, strong and intelligent from the kick off today, good performance.

Chelsea tried hard to come back, good game of football..

So Chelsea lose the first time they are asked to play after Liverpool. This is what pressure does to you which is why I have been complaining why Liverpool in particular are asked to play after them most week's. From the little I saw Spurs deserved to win and owned Chelsea for most off the match. The league is still very much open with it just past the half way stage.

Chelsea tried hard to come back, good game of football..

Scored two headers. Was not expecting that from him as I never considered him to be much of an aerial threat.

Chelsea made identical errors, which resulted in identical goals; Eriksen cross, Alli header.

To make matters worse, our attacking play was probably the worst it's been in a while, which made a comeback highly improbable against a strong Spurs defence.

Poor performance versus Plymouth. Seemed to lack intensity playing with a laid back approach. Need to put in right in the replay.

It was a mistake to play such a weak side, now you have a replay and it's not good because it's another cup fixture that could make it difficult in the PL.

Yeah the fixtures are piling up with us having seven matches in Jan now, I believe. Thank heaven's we're not in Europe:yk It's gonna be a tough month with Chelsea and Man Utd to play in the league as well.

I feel like Klopp needs to be less stubborn and buy players where the team is severely lacking in quality due to many reasons just as LB or a winger. There seems to be no middle ground in the Premier League according to the manager mentality, either you're a chequebook manager or a stingy manager doesn't like spending money.

I am still hopeful we'll sign some player's this month. Would rather he got the deal's done right now then wait until the last day when everything is so frantic. In today's market even a cheap player will cost a few £££ million.

We were lucky to only concede one goal against Southampton thanks to our keeper who kept us in it with some crucial saves. On another day it could easily have been three making it so very difficult for us in the return leg. As it stands we should still go through when they come to our place in a fortnight with the famous Anfield crowd behind the boy's. Although the injured players are back we seem to have lost some form and intensity over the past few weeks at the wrong time with crucial matches coming up. Plenty off possession without an end result is what is happening at the moment, need to start firing soon. With Sturridge being so very unsuitable for this system would like to see us playing Coutinho, Firmino and Origi up front. Mane's absence is also being felt as well.

There are some good options that shouldn't be too expensive, such as Quincy Promes and Jetro Willems. They're both quick and experienced, but young at the same time. I feel like they'd work well in a Klopp system.

I want some big signings. Sick and tired off always penny pinching. If we want to complete with the elite then need to be in for the best available players.

Well If Klopp isn't even going to bother replacing Alberto Moreno with a specialist LB, then I don't seen him getting a big signing.

Following the demoralising loss to Spurs and the recent Costa fiasco, Chelsea's morale will have taken a bit of a hit.

Hope to see a better display against Leicester to get things back on track, in shaa Allah.

Milner is doing okay for now at LB. I would like to see a winger come in as we're missing Mane.

Oh boy, this is shaping up to be one of the best PL season.

Should be an easy win for Liverpool against United. It's important to keep up with Chelsea now.

Easy win? United are at home with a full strength team on a winning run, Liverpool are missing their most on form player (Mane) and have played mid-week, while Matip might not be fit either.

Both teams had enough chances to win the game but draw was a fair result. However being 1-0 up with less than 10 mins to go, is disappointing.

To be fair to Liverpool, I think Valencia was offside for the equaliser, and they're unlucky to concede there. Pogba, Henrikh and Firmino really should have scored earlier though, so I guess it would have been equal.

Another snooze fest between United and Liverpool. This game gets so much hype but doesn't live up to the billing. There game earlier in this season was absolutely awful, this wasn't as bad but wasn't exactly entertaining.

At 1-0, Liverpool should have pressed on a bit more. United were there for the taking. Jose should have bought Fellani on at half time. All in all a draw is a fair result.

Man Utd's goal was offside for sure no questions asked but again they got the rub of the green. The linesman probably was to afraid to give it for what is was! Simon Mignolet was brilliant for us making some crucial saves otherwise they would probably have won it. Wijnaldum had a great chance to win it late on and should have done that only if he could shoot. Seeing they scored a dodgy goal on 84 minutes it's two point dropped as the gap at the top has gotten wider still. We must defeat Chelsea at home later in the month to reduce it and still be title contenders. Mane was missed today big time!

Disappointing draw. Massive two points dropped at home. We are now definitely now out of the title race.

More or less any Match under JM is snooze feast, unless he is playing against absolute minnows. Fair result in a sense that better team didn't lose; but their goal wasn't clean.

2 managers at Barca & Real were supposed to reignite their battle, but they are easily outclassed by the less famous pair at Chelsea & Liverpool.

Even last season the game at anfield was boring so can't blame it all on Jose although his defensive tactics don't help.

Good point conte and klopp haven't spent as much as Jose and pep as well

Told you guys Liverpool isn't winning the league. A defence with Klavan,Milner, and Lovren can't be taken seriously.

That loss is a dagger in my heart. Don't think it was really due to poor defending but a lacklustre first half where we failed to score. They scored from almost every chance made, credit to them for that. Have to accept that Klopp plays this way, he is never going to be a defensive minded coach. Had Klopp wanted to improve the defence then this month was the perfect opportunity instead he is on about buying only if the correct players are available. As I said before his transfer policy seems very similar to Arsene Wenger. The title is almost gone now, what is again frustrating is how we keep losing to supposedly weaker sides whilst performing well against the top ones. We've done so well against all the top ones having not even lost once to them only to falter against a Burnley, Bournemouth and now Swansea. Must beat Chelsea at home now then go on a great run hoping the ones above us lose more points. For now it's the two Cup's for us.

Rooney scores a last minute brilliant free kick to salvage a draw. He is now our top goalscorer. What a legend. But that's two massive points dropped. Especially with Liverpool losing at home to Swansea lol and City and Spurs both potentially losing points. I'm genuinely annoyed at our inability to capitalise on other teams dropping points.

With Liverpool losing and Lloris having an absolute shocker against City, things are looking really good for Chelsea.

Impressive comeback from Spurs. Pep's woes continue as his side dominated the game but were unable to clinch victory.

Chelsea looking like champs after today's win. Liverpool must defeat them next Tuesday then like other chasers hope they drop points.

We won today as we took our chances and Hull didn't but it could have easily been a different game if the referee had given a penalty to both sides and disallowed Costa's goal after a "foul" on Abel Hernandez (even though I don't think it is one, he just backs into Cahill trying to win something). Hazard and Pedro was poor and Hull's CB Maguire basically outperformed everyone on the Chelsea team barring Costa.

Signs of perspective champs is they win when not playing well. Chelsea are doing that.

Yeah but Hazard's form hasn't been at the top level for sometime now and it's worrying to see as we've got Liverpool and Arsenal next. The only way we're going to win both is if Hazard is on top form honestly.

Despite him not being on form you are still winning matches which is what counts. The next two matches will be crucial for you.

im a chelsea fan for the next 2 weeks. league is gone for us so need chelski to take all the plints against our top 4 rivals.
hull and watford at home followed by leicester away.
Got to take 9 points and see where we stand. most of our rivals will drop points in their next 3 games and hopefully we r level with pool and city after these games and 2-3,behind spurz Nd arsenal

Definitely, we're too inconsistent again the big teams. 3 wins and 3 losses so far this season.

Disappointed to only get the point. Pedro should have took the penalty, it was a good save by Mignolet but the shot wasn't tucked away in the corner. I guess Hazard being taken off was a bit of a mistake. Liverpool didn't really make too many chances, though Firmino should have scored at least once. It was very tense and Fabregas once again made a good impact. Aresnal on the weekend will be tough, though it looks like it's the time of the season where they start cracking under pressure, should have won with Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs dropping points. 9 points clear at the top now with Chelsea on 56 and Spurs on 47.

We best beat Hull tomorrow. I'm sick of others teams dropping points and us not capitalising. 3 points are a must tomorrow. No excuses. Come on United!

Chelsea deserved to miss the penalty as the free kick that lead to their first goal was never that in the first place. Firmino had two great chances as well putting them both to waste. It was a fair result in the end that in my opinion more or less eliminates Liverpool from the title race. It has been a terrible month for us ending our season from every competition.

Really big game for us tonight, seems like the last couple years we've never taken advantage of the sides above us slipping up.

We'll be 3 points off second if we win tonight, but what we really need is another 6 game winning run as that will cement our place in the top 4 and maybe even push us up to 2nd.

Arsenal losing last night was like a dagger through my heart!!

Still, seems we're not the only ones who are missing opportunities

Choked like the gunners and now you're falling away. Only scored 1 more than Crystal Palace. :))

Lol at you calling another manager a fraud when you got the biggest fraud in charge. Jose >>>>>> Wenger

To a certain extent We all live in glass houses and if we kept are stones to ourselves then what would be the point of having a site such as Pakpassion?

Besides, I'm a lifelong Arsenal supporter which doesn't necessarily translate to being a lifelong Wenger supporter.

Truth is I have supported Wenger over the difficult years, I.e the latter half of his Arsenal tenure. I feel a change is necessary.

However, whichever team I support doesn't prevent me from having my views on other teams, their players and managers.

I always thought that Mourinho was a bad fit for Manu. The guy is unhinged and could do more harm to the club then good. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Commented on other Arsenal forums that no matter how well we played today we wouldn't beat Chelsea.

Our 'rivals' doing their best to ensure that the title race (officially) comes to an end soon. :klopp

Arsenal are not getting anywhere fast either. Similar to Liverpool they also have a good phase followed by weeks of mediocrity and crucial losses. Chelsea were all over them in this one fully deserving their victory. Man Utd who crushed reigning champs Leicester now find themselves only a point behind Liverpool. Chelsea bar something amazing are almost certain to be champs followed by an amazing fight to finish in the top four.

Brilliant win for LFC!

From the kick off the pace of play by Liverpool was too much for Spurs to keep up with. Although Spurs had a few chances in the first half, LFC had even more with Mane missing a couple to get 4 goals within a space of 20 mins.

Hopefully this will give Liverpool the momentum to finish the season in style and getting 2 spot in the table.

Seems like the big teams are the easy ones for LFC. Unfortunately for them, there are more "weaker teams" in the league. :afridi

Wow you don't realise how good Burnley are at Turf Moor until you face them, they play like a top four team there. Annoying that I actually said during the game that Brady's freekick would fly into the top corner and it actually happened! :broad

They deserved the point, I feel like the title race would have been over if we had won.

Well, it may not be official, but none of the other sides look consistent enough to overhaul our massive lead at this point.

Yeah agreed, that's what I was thinking, all other teams aren't consistent enough against the bottom and other than Liverpool, aren't great against each other at the top, for example Spurs have struggled away against top 6 sides for a while now and Man United's big players like Pogba don't really turn up to the big games while Liverpool and Arsenal are too often facing an upset at the crucial moments where they have a chance to take the lead against their rivals.

I think Arsenal have been even worse against big teams than Spurs in recent times. Remember, we lost 2-0 to Spurs and I think they also did decently against Arsenal, MUFC and MCFC. Arsenal, meanwhile, have been terribly over reliant on minnow bashing. :hafeez2

In the last 3 years Spurs have won 1 of 15 games against the top 6 away from home, so I still stand by my original post. Spurs lost to MUFC this season and also Man City were robbed of a clear penalty in the 2-2 draw before they equalised. My point is that Arsenal fans complain about their players not turning up to big games but Spurs have been poor for a long time now.

Spurs have a worse team than Arsenal so Arsenal doing worse than Spurs against the top 6 isn't acceptable.

Yes, that was my point as well. The current Spurs team isn't necessarily inferior to Arsenal, but Arsenal are a far bigger club given their history and financial status. Therefore, seeing a young-ish Spurs side under a young manager in Poch outperforming Arsenal against top sides must be a tough pill to swallow.

I don't see them scaring any big teams as long as Wenger is there. The club has gone soft for quite a while under him and they need to start afresh under a bold, visionary new leader. :trump2

Finally we see Liverpool hitting top form against Spurs. We played Spurs off the park in the first half and should have won by a far greater margin, will take it at the end off the day. With Have gained two points on Chelsea after their draw at Burnley even though it is to late for us to challenge for the title now. With Arsenal and Man Utd also winning it will be a fascinating fight for who finishes in the top four. Arsene Wenger has just poured hot over claims by Ian Wright that he will quit at the end of the season.

What's going on here? :O
Hope the next Premier League champions don't activate snake-mode after winning the title. :srt

Klopp over achieved earlier on in the season when Liverpool were seen as genuine title contenders. Look at our subs bench versus Leicester then compare it to that of a Man City or Chelsea. Another thing is that Klopp only knows one way to play that is not suitable against every opposition. There seems to be no plan B or C when we are struggling or a goal down. There should be different tactics for different teams depending on their strengths and weaknesses. Liverpool's style of play has become all to predictable now where the opposition just sits back letting us have the ball without scoring.

Creditworthy. They've been the anti-minnow-bashers this season.

Defeating Arsenal again proves where our problems are. Had it been a Swansea they would probably had got a point due to a lack of determination by Liverpool players. It seems that Klopp is unable to motivate the players by telling them that every game is a three pointer. He looks like a soft touch laughing and giggling all the time, it is so very irritating. He needs to tell LFC fans that how come we have not lost to any team in the top six yet struggle against smaller teams?

Top-four finishes look almost certain for Chelsea and Spurs at this point. Their respective goal differences show that they've been a cut above the rest this season in terms of dominance.

Spurs have surprised me with their consistency this season. Chelsea have been great, their new manager has taken to the club like a duck to water. These two deserve to finish in the top two positions as they have been much better then the rest. I think it will finish

1) Chelsea
2) Spurs
3) Liverpool
4) Man City

The premier league is getting interesting with Abramovitch maybe not getting his hands on more silverware.
Thfc are really on their tails now and could even overtake Chelski before the end of the season

And if Man Utd win the Europa ,that's five in the Champions league next year!
