So Eoin Morgan has announced that if he's not good enough to be in the English squad both as a captain and a player he's willing to be dropped. He understands that if he can't contribute with the bat he doesn't deserve to be in the team.

Morgan stepped down from test cricket a long time ago so even as a limited overs specialist he's not trying to waste a spot in the team. He's even England's top ODi scorer in the last 3 years.

In contrast, Sarfraz has been a passenger for quite some time. He may have had achievements as captain but he must think further and understand that he has no place in the team if his performances don't warrant a place.

I hope he figures his uselessness out

Our captain will never ever do this. Credit to Morgan for this attitude. Don't think he should be dropped as all it will take for him is 1 innings to get back into form. Also he goes through patches where he doesn't score but then patches where he score consistently. England should be aware of this already.

Unlike our captain, he is actually good tactically and England would miss his captaincy if he was to be dropped.

Agreed! Morgan played a huge role in England's surge in limited overs and is a lot more consistent than Sarfraz has been in the past few years. England would regret it if he's dropped he's a great influence to the team

Sarfaraz was appointed by the PCB - they need to decide not him.

I can bet, no one will be interested to take PAK Captaincy unless PCB forces it upon someone. One reason is unreal expectation from fans from an average team; but the main reason is, every experienced cricketer in PAK knows what he'll face from Karachi media & Bhakt group if Sarfraz is sacked & replaced by him.

It's PCB's call indeed more that Sarfraz - they have to sack him or keep him & ask someone to take over with full support, otherwise Malik, MoHa, Azhar are too experienced in this regard ......

Indeed, Pak's captaincy comes with a lot of burden. This is where Misbah outclasses Sarfraz in terms of temperament and patience. Sarfraz gets easily frustrated and lacks the patience one needs as a captain of Pakistan. Misbah was pretty composed for a guy leading an average team for a few years; and the composure and tolerance brought many victories that Sarfraz can dream of at this point.

Sarfaraz has become complacent, got overweight and wont drop himself. It same as some people getting married they pile on weight after snd dont make effort and happy in comfort zone. Poor captain, average keeper snd currently batting like a tail ender.
