Very unfortunate that despite being the top performer in the Quaid e Azam trophy, he isn't getting enough chances to showcase his talent at the International level.

I vaguely recall him playing for Multan a few years ago, and I think he was just medium pace. And I don't remember his action looking anything like M Asif.

HE never looked like he was coping Asif's action. Not sure What asif he has seen bowling.

But I hope PCB is looking at the guys working hard in domestic like Ali is doing.

I copied James Anderson's action and idolized Wasim Akram... but unfortunately couldn't amount to much :)

We need to let out performances speak for themselves. The Pakistani culture of hyping yourself up is frankly, quite annoying..

More often than naught our youngsters fizzle out quite quickly once exposed to international cricket...

Remember seeing him in the Multan camp when Pont and Dalton first went there.

He then even featured for Multan Sultans in the subsequent PSL but didn't do much and then literally disappeared.

This is what happens in Pakistan, people assume everyone coming through is going to bowling at 140kph plus.

We barely like to see bowlers who can swing the ball around and are able to bowl at good lines and lengths consistently.

I don't think this guy has any thing similar to asif in terms of action.

I hope he comes good but have very little hope that he has got what it takes to be in the team anytime soon.
