Former Australia pacer Shaun Tait who also served as the fast bowling coach of Pakistan recently joined Saj Sadiq for an exclusive conversation after Pakistan's historic 2-1 victory in the ODI series against Australia down under.

Immensely impressed with Rizwan's leadership, Tait said that the wicket-keeper batter is more than capable of leading Pakistan. Moreover, the former Aussie quick also picked Pakistan as one of his favorite teams for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

He also praised Pakistan's pace battery. However, he was particularly pleased with the performance of top-order batters Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique, as the duo was involved in two match-winning partnerships in the 2nd and 3rd ODIs, respectively.

More than capable but only in Odis. In T20s, he is in the same league as Babar was when he resigned. His own performance in t20s is questionable.
 
No matter how much we troll him but in my opinion, he is the best available option for the national side at the moment.
 
Present leadership options for Pakistan team are limited two senior players SSA & Babar already tried and tested. Rest of the lot does not guarantee a place in starting 11 as evident by Agha the VC

but problem is that as a player we cant aford him in a white ball cricket... he cant remain in the side only because of his leadership skills.
