The former West Indies and South Africa head coach reflects on his previous PSL experience with Multan Sultans, the importance of a strong team culture, and his excitement about working with the legendary Misbah-ul-Haq — and much more.

Key revelations include:

Importance of Experienced Players:

Creating a Positive Team Environment: He discussed the importance of fostering a supportive and relaxed atmosphere within the team early on, which can help players perform their best cricket on the field.

Even kohli had a two-year long rough patch

I like Ottis but he is picking up the paycheck and has to pay his respects at the altar of Boobzy

The entire franchise is centered around his cult of personality at this point

Man won his former team a PSL final off his bat. The adulation in PSL is deserved. Let us not even talk about merchandise and Babar fans and youngsters who pick up a bat because of him. It is ok if you dont like him but stay reasonable.

"fans and youngsters who pick up a bat because of him."

You mean yourself? Just say yourself instead of clubbing fictitious people that do not exist

Better than the tullas you love with pathetic SENAI records at least. Babar won a PSL final off his bat, and nothing you say will change that. People look up to him as an honest and star cricketer his recent poor form notwithstanding he still fills stadiums way more than minnow basher Farhan and tulla Agha.

So has Sohaib Maqsood, who gives a F? Stop acting like winning the PSL is like winning the World Cup. Nobody gives a rat's a$$ what he did 6 years ago in empty stadiums.

Ottis Gibson has got him back to his best. coach. Just goes to show how influential coaches can be with their man management.

He has transformed a struggling side like Zalmi into a powerhouse. Hopefully PCB takes note of it and considers him for the national team. Mike Hesson has been a failure and completely shattered Babar’s confidence.
