Nielsen speaks well. Ultimately I think neither he or Gillespie were prepared for the intense scrutiny that came with the job and the political machinations behind the scenes which eventually pushed them out.

Their biggest mistake was buying the cliche Pakistan is the land of quality pacers, and thinking they'd destroy Bangladesh with an all-seam attack. Once that backfired, it gave Aqib Javed and his allies cause to undermine them and for trigger happy Mohsin Naqvi, who like most PCB heads is desperate to bask in any reflected glory from cricket, to make another change.

They only had a 2 year contract. Let them serve it and then re-evaluate. Not like Aqib's set the world alight.
