SIALKOT STALLIONZ Appoint Tim Paine as Head Coach

Sialkot Stallionz are proud to announce the appointment of Tim Paine as Head Coach, marking a
significant milestone in the franchise’s long-term vision for success in the HBL Pakistan Super
League.

Speaking on the appointment, Kamil Khan, Team Owner of Sialkot Stallionz, said:

“Tim Paine represents leadership at the highest level of world cricket. His journey as an
international captain and his extensive coaching experience across elite programs make him the
ideal person to lead our cricketing vision. We are not just building a team for one season — we
are building a culture, and Tim is the right leader to drive that culture.”

A former Australian Men’s Test Captain, Paine brings vast experience as a strategist, mentor,
and high-performance leader. His coaching career spans elite roles including the Big Bash
League, Australia A, Prime Minister’s XI, and national development pathways, where he is highly
regarded for building high-performing team environments.

“Our focus is on discipline, clarity, and sustained excellence,” Khan added. “Tim’s values
align perfectly with the Stallionz ethos — strong character, clear vision, and uncompromising
standards.”

Tim Paine’s appointment underlines Sialkot Stallionz’ commitment to professionalism, global
expertise, and championship ambition as the franchise prepares for the next phase of its PSL journey.

Whats wrong with these franchises?

Bradburn who was fired from county cricket for inappropriate behavior with a female staff and Tim Paine who was fired as Australian captaincy for sending raunchy texts gets appointed as fielding coach, head coach in the PSL? Only in Pakistan

Weird choice.
They could have gone for Stuart Law, Paul Farbrace, Chris Silverwood, Gregg Shipperd, Simon Katich, Justin Langer etc etc they decided to go with Tim Paine.

I d like teams to have local head coaches who work for them whole year scouting players meanwhile have overseas consultants.

Being new to PSL; Sialkot should not be experiencing with someone new to coaching stuff

While it could be a great opportunity for Paine to kick off his coaching career.
