Always good to listen to him and he has a great point when he said that Pakistan team need to give it a whack right from the get go in T20 cricket like the other big teams do. I hope Babar and Rizwan listen to this and understand that they cannot play 10 overs and score 40 runs or get out after scoring a 50 off 35-40 balls.

It's good to see that Bumble is backing Saim Ayub but how long do we need to wait for him to become a Jos Buttler? He has already played in multiple series but is still revolving in the same circle. Isn't it better to try someone else who is waiting in the queue for their chance?

Muhammad Haris is a jos butler type player.

Bumble is right.

The handbrake needs to come off.

A Killer 11 for T20 s is Sharjeel , Saim, Fakhar, Usman, Muhammad Haris, Salman Ali, Azam K, Imad, Shaheen, Amir, Naseem.

Bench for rotation, Rauf, Jamal, Abrar, Shadab, Wasim Jr, Irfan K, Nafy, Usama Baloch.

Why not give a series to saim harris fakhar usman in the top order followed by azam khan and imad. With no babar and rizwan in the team. This will sort out pakistans 50% of problems

Bumble & Kevin O'Brien are spot on. Pakistan are too soft, their approach can be a lot to be desired & at times, a hindrance to the side. It starts with mentality & application which Pakistan cricket players clearly lack besides the obvious.

'Pakistan Cricket Team Left Behind Others, Politicians Get Involved': Former England Legend Raises Concerns

Pakistan cricket team has come under scrutiny for its recent performances and conservative tendencies. Lloyd's comments echo a growing sentiment among fans and analysts who believe that while Pakistan boasts exceptional talent, their reluctance to take risks often leads to missed opportunities and underwhelming performances.

Pakistan Cricket team has been urged to adopt a more adventurous approach by former England cricketer and renowned commentator David Lloyd. According to Lloyd, Babar Azam and company believes their cautious style needs to be improved to compete with the best.

"I think they are getting left behind with the game evolving rapidly. It's like a runaway train and you have to keep up," Lloyd was quoted as saying by PakPassion.net.

"They are so careful, but you have to give it a whack. You can't panic and what ifs! There is no what if in T20 cricket," he added.

Pakistan cricket team has come under scrutiny for its recent performances and conservative tendencies. While they possess world-class players, their overall scoring rate often falls short compared to other top teams. Lloyd's comments echo a growing sentiment among fans and analysts Lloyd, also known for his outspoken personality, also highlighted the need for Pakistan selection process to be more transpartent with more accountabilty. When asked about Babar Azam being reappointed as skipper, replacing Shaheen Shah Afridi, he said,

"We all have a bit of chuckle on what is happening politically in Pakistan Cricket. The players are nveer sure about having a word - why I have been sacked and why I have been called back. They need to settle down and the new management needs to that.

"If there are factions then you are winning nothing. There has to be unity within the team. The decisions are unclear and politicians get involved as well. Just imagine if politicians get involved in selecting a cricket team. They can't run a country, never mind a cricket team,"Llyod joking added.

Another fun interview . Keep them coming Saj .

I echo Bumbles view , modern T20 you need big aggressive batters . Hitting sixes changes & wins the game . I’m surprised there aren’t any young , big strong hitters in Pakistan atm :afridi

If you play with fear, more often than not you will fail.

Too many players are not playing for the team, they are playing for their own stats to enable them to get lucrative T20 deals and offers.

They couldn't care less how the team does.

For sure, look at the comparison betwee England and Pakistan's top order.

England: Bulter (sr 145), Salt (165), Jacks (151), Bairstow (137), Brook (144)
Pakistan: Ayub (128), Rizwan (128), Babar (130), Fakhar (134) Shadab (141)

Bumble said that Joe Root, while having a solid average of 36, only has a sr of 126 so there is no place for him in their T20I side. Literally, that is the same SR of 3/5 of our top order. So we are willing to play slow people while this is not tolerated in top tier teams.

Pakistan will not be able to play modern cricket like this, and we will always be at a disadvantage.

You can never dare to be great without taking big risks

You can never dare to be great without taking big risks
And this Pakistan team rarely takes risks.

In fact if you look at the squad there are only a few of the Pakistani players who are brave enough to take risks.

It's a mindset thing and fear is too common in Pakistan cricket.

To be honest, Pakistani players know their limitations which is why they don't take risks. It's the circumstance that is responsible, not them.

It's futile to take some 125 cc bike to a racing course and ask to run them like those racing bikes....

When you have limitations, the upper ceiling will always cause issues.

Pakistan cricket died a long time ago. The last hurrah was the CT17. There’s no infrastructure or professional school system in play for the kids to look at. There’s nothing. And thats why you see all the timidness at the top when bottom is broken.

When I look at them I see a group of friends that have taken over our cricket team and made it into their own private club. The team no longer plays for Pakistan, they play for themselves.

Cricket isn’t their main priority anymore, for Bale it was ‘Golf, Wales then Madrid’, for our players it’s ‘Cake, PSL then Pakistan’.

Until we start utilizing the power play, we won't be able to compete with any team in mega events because this format is a game of momentum and if you lose early on, you're gone.

It’s T20 , not much too it , get big hitters in your batting until 7 & let the bat swing . It’s not hard to hit sixes on these flat , small grounds.

England are the best , because they simply play aggressive win or lose .

If India somehow lose on Sunday , would it mean their limitations reduced so massively overnight ? Cricket doesn’t have much science , it’s a sport and at the highest levels it comes down to the mind .

Too careful is an understatement especially Babar's batting for 8 overs.!! Even Pandya's timidity comment is an understatement.

Circket doesn't have much science?

It's basically a hub of physics! Every good batsman or a good bowler intentionally or unintentionally have learnt the laws of physics and applied it which is why they are best in the business.

Just because it is sports doesn't mean it is devoid of science. When you say, "technicality" it basically means how we can use physics to add to our advantage.

Pakistan players are afraid of losing thier wicket that is why they are too careful and in this process, they become selfish. Fakhar is the only guy who does not care about his wicket, he like to take on. Not saying that it works but that is how he plays.
