Aamer Jamal averaged 8 with the bat and took 5 wickets at an average of 40.

Faheem ain't Shane Watson but he's comfortably the best Pakistan allrounder currently.

Yeah he was dropped and yeah, it's an associate team but still it was high-quality knock under pressure when everyone else seemed to be losing it. He saved Pakistan from another USA/Ireland-like embarrassment.

Meanwhile, Nawaz - who averaged a Bradmanesque 3.00 and didn’t reach double figures even once - batted six times.

Even if you picked him purely as a specialist batter, how much worse could he realistically have done compared to Nawaz and the rest of that middle order?
