well Faheem is not able to prove himself, he has now get several chances but still he hasn't grabbed any of them, so i think against SL match they should go for Muhammad Wasim or Usama Mir.

Should have always been Wasim Jnr in the first place.

I'm not a fan of either Faheem Ashraf or Mohammad Wasim jr but let me say something about Amir Jamal because you'd get the impression Richard Hadlee is sitting on the bench reading some of the hype here:

His List A economy rate is 6.88. In our last domestic 50 over competition - he went around the park with a bowling average of 61.42 at 8.11 an over !

None of these guys are particularly good. It also hurts our balance because without a quality seam bowling all-rounder - it's difficult playing a specialist spinner (unless you accept a long tail).

Faheem is possibly the most talentless cricketer to have ever played limited overs cricket for Pak. Other one that comes to mind is Rafatullah mohmand.

I think Faheem is a tad better. But neither should be in the squad. Wasim is a club cricket level I'm sure.

They both were highly rated by Pakistani selectors and they brought them into the team every now and then, but their performance was nothing. Amir Jamal is an option to be looked at seriously.

Wasim is a good option for t20 cricket but I don't think he's good enough to play ODI cricket at the moment. Faheem is a better option than him but again he seems to struggle at international level with his performance.

Faheem is definitely the better batsman despite of his horrible odi batting record, he has shown that he can bat in test matches.
Waseem is more of a slogger and even there he is a bit behind Naseem, I wont really count him as an allrounder.

Waseem is faster, more skilled than Faheem but he releases pressure a lot of times, Faheem is better at that.

In any scenario , Wasim Jnr should not play as a frontline bowler, Hassan Ali is better than him and has won Pakistan a tourney once upon a time.

yes indeed but what are the available options we have in the pool right now?

It was better to go with this latha player Faheen Stokes Ashraf in place of Waseem Jr, atleast he can slog some later down the order. He is not the one who can bowl in death overs but yeah good enough to bowl with new ball.

I will prefer Wasim because he can hit aqually good as faheem does but he is also a better death bowler.

Yes, but we need to find a better all rounder as both of these are just flukes and can't win matches at crucial stages.

I like Mohammad Wasim Jr. but if he wants to be a useful all rounder for Pakistan he has to take another step up with his batting.

His bowling is solid, particularly his death bowling. He bowls with pace, he does need a bit more consistency though.

Faheem has been poor in this PSL. Wasim should be the number 1 choice because he has been neglected where he should have been playing instead. Just the batting factor needs a bit of improvement, rest is fine.

But Mohammad Wasim has impreved alot, he can play a cameo down the order also a very good death overs bowler so yeah if i have to pick one of them surely i will go for wasim.

And he played for Pakistan for so log on the basis of just that game, the Warmup game. LOL. Wasim should be invested in now, he is doing better than faheem atm.
