I think maybe Misbah should retire before he develops a medical condition from having to deal with the mediocrity surrounding him.

Sialkot would have been a much better addition to the CL. imran nazir, malik, haris, rana could have competed well in these conditions.

Yeah SS was the best team to get qualified .. Lahore Lions would have choked under pressure with the likes of Shehzad, kami etc

Wolves will rise again. That pathetic drop catch was the turning point. Pathetic stuff from Asad Ali... and Ehsan bowling as well..

Misbah did a great job with bat and Ajmal with bowling..

Sad these two greats have hacks around them.

I have been saying this the moment visa issues started

Pathetic team lead by a mediocre captain

He's one of the most successful captains, stop the hate.

Sialkot Stallions was full of stars and T20 specialists

And they lost miserably, kicked out from qualifying stage.

FW will rock back ;)

So my first team lost.. Onto the next game..
GO SRH!!.. WIN IT for us..

This isn't our strongest team in domestic. Lahore Lions, Rawalpindi Rams, Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins are all better teams than the Wolves.

They won the thing because of Misbah. Good captaincy, excellent batting from him. Ajmal didn't even play most of the tournament. Lahore Lions the strongest team by a country mile choked in the semi final, they were chasing a low total and were nearly there with 2 wickets down and they collapsed unbelievably.

Faisalbad Wolves has been made even weaker since Hafeez left them to join Lahore (which in turn has given Lahore a decent captain, spinner and batsman making them clearly the strongest). Lahore also won the tournament earlier on in the year (there are two of these tournaments). Just they decided to use the super eight one. Which to be honest I think traditionally was a lesser tournament than the normal Faysal Bank one which the Lions won.

Sialkot used to be strong, but they're not as strong as they used to. Still a clear second.

It's a shame that some of our stronger teams didn't win it so we'd stand a chance in CL. Misbah literally carried that team to win that tournament. It was an incredible showing by him. But a one man effort won't work here, especially when some of our domestic bowlers will be found wanting against proper international players here.

Disagree, Stallions just have Malik and Nazir. And Raza.

Lions have the bulk of our T20 players. Jamshed, Shehzad, Hafeez, Abdul Razzaq, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Mohammed Yousuf (though not sure he'd compete in it anymore). Even Cheema you might count, he has a little international experience and has done well in domestic for ages.

Misbah did incredible to get the Wolves the trophy. He didn't even have ajmal for most of it.
