Babar Azam and Haider Ali middle order?

There is no correlation in that. Haider is a sack of potatoes too.
 
How about we send them two to open for Pakistan in the tests on the Australia tour? Either Pakistan will be 0/2 after 2 overs or 100/0 after 20 overs.

In my humble opinion it is the risk worth taking.

The usual openers Abdullah & Imam can bat at no.3 & 4.

So the batting would like this:

1. Sharjeel
2. Fakhar
3. Abdullah
4. Imam
5. Babar
6. Rizwan
 
People don't understand why we want sharjeel, fakhar or saim ayub at the top.

Even if they perform 1 in 5 games we win, we saw that impact with fakhar this tournament.

How many games has babar, rizzu, Abdullah performed in for their 50's and Pakistan has lost those games?
 
The Sharjeel Fakhar combination needs to happen. Let's build the pressure
 
I would rather even make Sharjeel captain of tests despite his tainted past, than a complete jabroni who has played for 10 years due to his dad working for PCB with his scratchy little innings where every stroke he’s struggling to get off the mark, falling over and miscuing everything.

Sharjeel at the very least had 1-2 innings of substance in Australia, even opened in tests with him for a bit with him going for it.

I hope this combo happens so that people realise that the problem is the rotten system and mentality
 
Safe to say that Sharjeel's international career is over with Hafeez now at the helm of cricket affairs.
 
Not happening at all since Hafeez is the director of cricket now.

During the Musical chairs…Babar was allowed to captain with freedom. He was allowed to select/keep whoever he wanted with freedom.

If anything that was clearly rotten, it was his output as captain. Stop blaming the system.

If it's his captaincy holding us back, stay here for next few years. I agree he wasn't a great captain but you are misinformed if you thinking changing captains will make a big difference. You are in for a rough ride. Fasten your seatbelt because it's going to get even worse

So, continue with a brainless captain because the alternatives aren’t better,

That would be like saying keep opening with Imam because the rest are all too inconsistent.
 
Sharjeel in Gold category basically means that only Multan Sultans can make FakhJeel happen assuming MS pick Fakhar in the draft, or he goes unpicked in Gold and which ever team picks Fakhar can the get Sharjeel in silver.
 
Fakhar and Sharjeel will be domestic bullies its a fact, those who regard them as Greenidge & Haynes, Hayden & Gilly, Sanath & Kalu are just infatuated nothing else

You don't appreciate monster scores from these 2 like when sharjeel butchered Ireland or butchered England, or when fakhar become the 2nd coming of saeed Anwar against NZ, SA.

But you just love and love to gloat about Babar's 101 against NZ or any of his meaningless scores.

Like genuinely, Babar smacks 151 against Nepal and he's the greatest batsmen in the world? But sharjeel smacks retired legends and it's he's smacking buddei babei, he's so farigh
 
I am not abig admirer of Sharjeel but how he is playing these days i must say he deserve a chance in national team.

Proper 10 over basher. Exactly the kind of opener Pakistan needed. He and fakhar would have complimented each other, since fakhar is a terrific player but he takes some time before he goes gun ho.

Sharjeel would have provided up 80 to 90 in 10 overs and likely gotten dismissed by offspin.

Fakhar would have taken the long road with daddy 100's.

His batting however was OMG absolutely brilliant. One of the cleanest hitters of pace with a lightning fast bat speed and world class reflexes.

Proper white ball batter. Special pick of Misbah in Islamabad united.

Too bad Sethi ruined him @Rana

Basically I believe sharjeel Khan was a good player of pace. He was an aggressive opener and would have been good for the t20 market atleast. His series vs aus is his peak.

He was a good minnow basher as well via his performance against Ireland.

Ik people want fakhar and saim as their t20 openers. However saim is too young and it's too early in the game. However overall saim is a better batsmen then Sharjeel

I don't support him for fixing. But I dont see cricket from that standpoint.

If a player is good then they should be present. Sharjeel would never make it into my odi or test side but in t20 considering the options are

1) Babar
2) Rizwan
3) Imam
4) Abdullah
5) Hasan Nawaz
6) Saim Ayub( only viable option)
7) Imran Nazir (Similarly to Sharjeel, you can swap sharjeel for Imran)
8) Fakhar Zaman (Should be his plus 1)
9) Ahmed Shehzad
10) Hafeez

Or any past players like awais zia etc etc, sharjeel is clearly a better t20 option then everyone else except Saim, Imran nazir and fakhar zaman

This is what I want to see bro, Farhan has been waiting almost a decade to be given this advice. He is a flawed player but so was my GOAT YK, these idiots don’t know zilch about mentorship, coaching and player development.

The Shield 2.0 / Dark State (In NXT currently lol) need to emerge and squash all the tranny fans like bugs :afridi

Yes, we’ve already tried the scientific experiment of Khan saab where we had two opening our T20 since 2019

We may have a league somewhere in Eastern Africa , like Congo Premier league or Senegal Super League for Sharjeel and Fakhar to open together

Can't happen, the age gap between sharjeel and Saim is too high.

Hence peak sharjeel and saim can't logically co exist

I knew that Legside scoop that Saim plays on one leg was familiar. Cause saeed Anwar disnt typically play that.

Now I remember sharjeel use to play it in the same fashion on one leg.

Lol so what did Ba/riz mentor Saim in? I've never seen Saim walk 3 steps away from his stumps in order to legside sweep cause he can't play on the offside?
 
Fakhar is on his last legs and doesnt have much gas left, Sharjeel never had any gas to begin with.

This thread is rather irrelevant now and should be binned.
