Would love to, but won't be able to. Will you go?

I actually dont watch cricket anymore. Ever since Kaptaan departed, i dont watch cricket as i use to before.

So answer is no

Come on I was a huge fan of kaptaan Misbah aswell. Players come and go and life goes on we support the country not the players. Eventually new players will rise up and earn fan respect so there is no reason to stop watching.

Even though misbah is gone it's still a really exciting time to be watching pakistan cricket right the amount of exciting youngster coming through right now is amazing.

Hopefully I will.I've got some exams scheduled around that time(dates TBD) so I'm not sure.

Retakes for A Levels? SATs? Trust me, unless you have an exam on the exact date, you can fly in, watch the match and go back home. A day of not studying won't really make a difference. Come to the stadium!!

Exactly my thoughts. I consider myself a HUGE Misbah fan and I watched Pakistan Tests just for him but players come and go. You can't hold onto them forever. He was bound to retire one day.

Exactly I too am a huge misbah fan but I would still go as far as saying that I right now is the best time to be watching pakistan cricket even better than when misbah and YK were playing simply because of all the exciting youngsters and the CT win.

Don't worry, there is no chance of a less filled stadium. Because more people will be willing to watch it and fill up the stadium than those who wont/cant.

It will be a full house either way.

I know that... I'm just asking fans on PP based in Pakistan on whether or not they're going. I went to the Zimbabwe series with a bunch of friend, the PSL final and will go again so I know the crowds will be there.

Do you plan on going?

I'm going to watch some PsL games next year but not sure about this

I'll try to but I might be very busy at the time

I just cant make myself watch crixket anymore.

I fell in love with the way misbah captained his team. I understood every decision he made and always knew what he was upto.

I just dont find interest with other captains. Yes you may blame me but what could i do, im just like that.

If pak wins or losses i just dont really feel anything anymore

Easy for you to say considering PSL games are coming to Karachi next year. :)) But yeah, I see. Nothing all year around in Islamabad. :| Nonetheless, I suggest you try and go watch at least one of these games. Fly in and fly out. You don't get to see Amla, Faf, Amir, Hasan Ali, Sarfraz, Morkel, Bailey and Imran Tahir playing in the same match every day.

I have both actually, but I was talking about my in-school tests.

I really want to go to the games but I have to make sure my exams don't fall in between those dates!

I get what you mean but let some time go by I think you'll be able watch cricket again eventually if you're still a cricket fan.

i live in usa :(

I'd love to but getting even a single ticket means putting yourself through hell. Might go if a friend of a friend comes through and gets us a ticket or two on the black market.

I don't think so. I went to the Zimbabwe games and the PSL final and getting tickets wasn't a problem and I didn't even use my contacts or anything.

I wont be attending however for the people who do go this is the opportunity to showcase how welcoming you are to the world. I hope fans wear shirts of the different countries player participating and make it a feel good atmosphere.

To be very honest, i always found matches to be very boring in the ground. The crowd is very fun, but match is boring.

Television broadcasting is what makes the game a thriller, especially the commies

I shall go, because this will be my first time that I shall go to watch Live match.

I live very near to Qadafi stadium, I shall try to get tickets for all matches.

But I am praying that I may get tickets, because People will grab them as soon as they are upto sale.

I don't know how old you are but this is just sad to hear to be honest, like I am genuinely sad for you bro.

Not trying to be demeaning towards you but for me it's been almost 20 years since I've been religiously following cricket and I think I'd be as passionate as ever, writing and analyzing about it, until the day I die. I've seen players like Wasim, Waqar, Inzi, Yousuf, Younis, in the flesh, all come and go but at the end of the day, they represent Pakistan and Pakistan is above and beyond everyone's existence.

Misbah himself was a proud servant of the nation and we too all adore him to bits, but even for him it was always about the country and making Pakistan as competitive, on the field, as any other cricket playing country.

Why will you not be going, if you don't mind me asking? Security?

I think this deserves POTW. Very emotional and fits every fan obsessing a little too much over one person.

Haha no.

Im going to in Dubai almost certainly in that period so will go iA (unless PCB decides to totally change the PSL window which lets be honest isnt beyond them)

Id even forgetten some PSL matches might be in Karachi

How can you be so emotional over someone who wasn't even remotely close to being an ATG? Seems to me you're a bigger Misbah fan-boy than a Pakistan fan

Guy was a legend(full stop)

That's you opinion but since he's departed from the ODIs Pakistan has moved forward and won the CT. You'll also see the same in the coming years when Sarfraz builds a good test side as well.

What food do they serve at the ground in Lahore ? Red Devil :afridi

Are you sure? I saw a news report on TV before the PSL final that showed nearly hundreds of people fighting to get tickets and ultimately going home empty-handed.

Obviously but that's what happens when you look for tickets at the very end.

Yes I will go to the stadium for atleast one match out of 3. I also attended the PSL final this year, the atmosphere was mind blowing. :kp

First schedule some test matches, our next test is in uk in may 2018

England are heavy favourites particularly earlier in the summer where the pitches are harder and the ball usually does more in the air.

But I have full faith in Sarfraz to pick the best XI and get the best out of the players he has at his disposal rather than the ultra-defensive captain who picked dross like Iftikhar Ahmed and Zulfi

We complain about lack of cricket at home and when the opportunity is presented, we are talking about NOT going! how strange!?
