Federal Areas [327/9] beat Balochistan [323/9] by one wicket to win the Pakistan One Day Cup

Why this match started one hour earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Baluch's opening pair is better than PAK pair:( Ahmed, Azhar, Babar, MoHa - fasting will be tougher on us this year ...........

Why am I complaining on the early start? I have seen final match delayed a bit, but first time in my life started watching a Final from 14th over, because match started one hour earlier, courtesy to PCB.

Saw Farhan in other matches - wicket is very good for batting while bowling & fielding is under per, therefore might not be conclusive, but any given day I'll take him to CT ahead of Ahmed & Azhar, without experience. If this is without experience, then he should improve after 3/4 weeks with National team.

I really like you as a poster. So I will ask you this even if it is a bit off topic : what do you think will happen to the sharjeel khan case ? (keeping in mind that we need an opener like him)
 
Rameez in. This guy is so rubbish. Should have sent in agha salman or amir yamin can't stand this guy.

That's what happens when you have a CS who is risk averse. He is just picked best known names instead of picking the best guys available.

I don't see the current squad making over 280 in the UK where the scores will be 320+.

Won't comment on what'll happen, without knowing details - if I start throwing random comments, you won't like my posts much going forward.

If he is found guilty, he should get punishment exactly as per regulation - not for the sake of making an instance. Similarly, if he is found innocent, people who brought the game in dispute, defame PAK cricket & individuals should be made to pay for that.

But, that judicial process has to be perfect, for which I didn't like for the people selected by PCB - they should have involved Govt. Justice department for free & fair trail.
 
Single handedly carrying the innings. Can't ask for a bigger dream final as a player
 
Imad Wasim is a very shrude Captain.

Thrice he made bowling changes and thrice his team got wicket immediately.

Best Captain of Pakistan Cup easily.

KK should seriously think about making him the captain next season.

Bro, you are feeling too deep - PAK's CS after 20 years of International cricket has picked a team that has confirmed right-hander from 1 to 7 in Test against a leggi & barrage of left arm spinners, here you think Baluch coach will think that?
 
Farhan has done well in this tournament but we have seen previously before with Nauman Anwar or Shakeel Ansar that you need to perform on consistent basis rather than a solitary tournament to be actually a good prospect.

If Farhan has some good A tours and a good List A season only then he should be inducted in the squad.
 
Is the commie Hafeez's relative or something? He is going on and on about how good Hafeez is and even refused to talk about the Farhan's technique when Hafeez was bowling. He wanted to talk about Hafeez impact :facepalm:

Yes. If Misbah retires than Isb united can have local boy back and give him the Captaincy.
 
Why is Abid saying Maddy bhai, Haris bhai :O ??

From what I remember Abid started playing cricket before them in an u-19 world cup and is older than them.

Rate him. He is a longterm Hafeez replacement but he needs to do some work on his bowling action with Saqlain. Than his bowling will improve quite abit. Also he is badly treated at FC and List A. Needs to bat only at number 4 or 5. Raza Ali Dar & Saad Nasim as Captain mistreat him. Probably professional jealousy.
 
Only 3 local boys plying for Isloo.
Imad , Zohaib (******) and Sarmad. And even Sarmad is a Khi born.

So sad when you know there are much better players in Islamabad :(

But their captain, Fakhar, is mentored by Baz and and we have clearly seen the strategy of Baz in PSL that he preferred left-right combo.

If you see today's match than I do think that since Imad & Hassan were bowling very tight in middle overs so sfter Sohaib's wicket left right combination was maintained. Saad averages 56 in List A so he had to come at number 4 anyway. Than Rameez too is a middle order batsman and senior pro and he scored 39* of 20 balls in last match. Balochistan Coach is a new Coach and he has been good.

My big issue is Agha's handling in Lahore's FC and List A teams by his skippers Fahad ul Haq, Saad Nasim & Raza Ali Dar.


Still I feel if he works on his bowling improves his hip rotation during ball delivery than he will definitely knock on the door of international Cricket as a replacement of Hafeez or Malik.

Left-right combo works best in PP - they didn't send Saad at 3 once Fakhar got out early, therefore I don't think it was a strategy. They maintained standard order.
