Police have arrested 55 men in connection with historical child sex abuse cases in West Yorkshire.

The men are from Dewsbury, Batley and Bradford and the arrests began in November, according to West Yorkshire Police.

All the men were interviewed and released under investigation, the force said.

The claims made by seven women relate to abuse against them as children between 2002 and 2009.

The allegations are connected to offences in the Kirklees area, predominantly in the towns of Dewsbury and Batley.

Det Insp Ian Thornes said: "This investigation demonstrates the force's ongoing commitment to the investigation of both current and non-recent sexual offences against children.

"Child sexual abuse and exploitation is an abhorrent and heinous crime and one which affects some of the most vulnerable people in our society."

The force had specialist safeguarding units across the county and worked with local authorities and charities to "bring the perpetrators to justice", he said.

Det Insp Thornes urged any victims of sexual abuse, whether recent or historical, to report it to the police.

"Please be assured that you will be listened to, taken seriously and supported by professionals with experience of dealing with these kind of offences," he added.

They should be deported to the country of their ethnicity.

They should be deported to the country of their ethnicity.

And whys that? Why cant they be tried and imprisoned only if guilty like every other british born citizen?

As i have said before this issue is being used by Muslim haters more than even terrorism these days. I have myself witnessed cases where people have gone down but thankfully the Judge didnt allow public reporting. Had he done so, race relations in our area would have been destroyed forever.

These offences are going back to 2002. Absolutely astounding that the same authorities didn't deem them worth prosecuting back then.

Sorry wrong mail quoted.

It does not say where they were born. If migrants they should be deported.

What do you think are the main causes of this phenomenon?

They should be deported to the country of their ethnicity.
And how far back do you go? Their parents birthplace? Their grandparents birthplace? Even further back in time? such as a black person born in the UK, to parents who were born in the Caribbean, and whose 'ethnicity' was African because their ancestors were slaves taken from Africa.

And what if they were of mixed race? Say half black (ethnically African) and half-brown (ethnically from India). Do you chop them in half and deport a half each to Africa and India?

If they are legitimate UK citizens, then they should be tried under UK law, and if found guilty, sent to jail in the UK.

Interestingly, quite a few court cases have been reported on recently involving indigenous perpetrators, although they were paedophile organisations and not necessarily of a tanned hue or nationality or religion attributed. Probably lost among the small print.

Those born here should be punished according to British law. Mixed race would mean sending them back to the country where they were born, simple. Now don't say what if they were born in two places! It is rather simple. Like it or not in most laws country of birth still matters. There is no need to go beyond these factors.

But thats not what you said initially You said ethnicity If you meant birth then fine but theres no reason why a british born 2nd or 3rd generation should be deported anywhere as hes as british as any causasion according to the law

That is what I meant. British born is okay, they should be dealt here. Those who are born elsewhere should be sent back home. What I did not mention in my original post was people of mixed heritage. The law is always supreme as I repeatedly say.

Why deport these monsters back to places where law and order is weak, and they would then target the poor children of those countries?!

Castration is the only solution for these sickos!

If the BBC docu-drama Three Girls is accurate, the Police may not have thought the victims credible witnesses hence the chance of convictions were low. At-risk kids with little schooling and poor commit skills.

Or perhaps the victims have only just come forward, as part of the MeToo movement.
