Was a nightmare to watch it first time around as well as a kid but I did appreciate it late similar to Pakeezah.

Most likely you did not understand the complicated Urdu-Persian dialogues!. You were just watching the scenes and wonderful costumes

TCM did get a remake which was not that bad lol. The Exorcist has been ripped off so much that I doubt it even needs a remake anymore.

The villain was dr dang, leader of an organization wanted to destroy india.. they had uniforms like nazis..

What made you think that wasn't backed by ISI ,I remember seeing the movie recently and they kept using the term 'Desh ke Dushmano ki saajish' like clearly implying Pak again and again.. sad ending Dara Singh, Nasserudin and many jawans die..

The funniest scene was the toy helicopter getting destroyed, sorry but defn not a fan of 80s commercial Hindi cinema unless Sunny Deol was the hero.

That is not the point at all. I am talking about you as an individual most likely unable to understand the Urdu language. Stop making everything an Indo-Pak issue. With a nine times greater population your country has more speakers of every language.
