Finally 2 New-Ball Bowler's (Mohammad Hasnain and Shaheen Shah Afridi)

Everyone's aware how good a new ball bowler Shaheen is although he needs to learn the out swinger to right handers
Today Hasnain has got the ball to swing away from the right hander. He also got one to swing the other way and his lines look alot better.
One interesting stat is Hasnain got more average swing this series than Shaheen. Look at the stats:

Hopefully Hasnain continues the improvement trajectory. But let’s not overhype performances against Zimbabwe - might get murdered by quality opposition.

Also, that swing indicated was over just the first 2 overs, so it doesn’t average out with the later stages of the powerplay. I expect the average to dip by the end of the powerplay.

Good news though is that we have competition for the new ball bowler now opposite Shaheen, between Rauf and Hasnain. Hopefully one of them makes their mark.

I like how Hasnain has gradually been brought into the side and further needs to be transitioned into the test side. What I fear is a few good games and he'll be rushed into the test side. I like how waqar has mentioned a few times that Hasnain is not yet ready for test cricket.
Hasnain needs to work on his line more than length. He has the tendency to spray it short and wide. However,I was happy to see him perform today.

3 20yr fast bowlers in the team today along with Naseem & Ilyaas then we have Wahab , Shinwari , Rauf , Hassan & maybe Aamir (if he performs in domestic games) as experienced backups , pace department looking good , just need a new coach & we are good to go

I watched first 10-12 overs today, once ZIM opted to bat ..... is it really that PP is hyping Hasnain's new ball skills for those three wickets that he took with new ball last night???? Incredible ......

Bowled well today and got that away shape going with the new ball. Still needs a lot of work to do so he needs to keep on putting in those hard yards.
