What the hell? Children are turning murderers in UK???

=====

Five children have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of an 80-year-old man who was attacked in a park on the outskirts of Leicester.

Bhim Sen Kohli, who was walking his dog in Braunstone Town, was seriously assaulted on Sunday and died in hospital last night.

A boy and a girl, both 14, and two girls and a boy, all aged 12, are being questioned by police.

The attack happened near the entrance to Franklin Park in Bramble Way at about 6.30pm.

Mr Kohli is believed to have been wearing a black jumper and grey jogging bottoms - and police said the attackers left before emergency services arrived.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

These 5 spoiled brats should be tried in court as adults. All of them belong to 12-14 years old age group.

That would be wrong. Instead the authorities should try to find what is turning children violent and take measures against those. Are there gangs in UK which are recruiting children?

RIP to the man! As for the kids, I'm at a loss of words.

Alot of the kids who are in to gang violence are kids who have been expelled from mainstream schools, who then get expelled from behavioural or alternative schools. This is when they pick up gangster life, as there's no alternatives.

Sunak for me had a good solution. By making school compulsory till the age of 18 which could have benefited alot of kids

It is profoundly unsettling that children aged 12 to 14 can commit egregious acts, such as the brutal killing of an 80-year-old man; While adults may turn to crime and violence, it is particularly alarming to witness such a loss of innocence in young ones who are supposed to embody the innocence of youth.

This incident, where kids not only attacked the victim but also displayed cruelty by throwing rocks and spitting on him, highlights a troubling shift in UK's societal values. With one 14-year-old now in custody while others wander free, it's evident that the UK is grappling with a significant decline in social cohesion, exacerbated by cuts to social services and education, which have fostered a troubling rise in gang culture, knife crime, and violence among these marginalized yobs.

The ineffectiveness of stop-and-search policies and inadequate police resources contrast sharply with politicians' hollow promises of tougher sentencing, sentence and put them where exactly? There aren't enough prison spaces, and criminals already in jail are being let free early to make space for new convicts.

The ongoing economic and social decline in the UK fuels the troubling rise in violent crime, and I fear we'll only be faced with more distressing news in the future.

Economic & social issues are linked but it’s more than this . A 14 year old also shot & killed school members today in USA .

There is a large proportion of youth in the west who have no guidance , are left alone being brainwashed by internet, entertainment & other modes of connection with the world . It’s no coincidence the nation with weak family traditions or breaking down of these sees dangerous issues with youth .
