Flaws in team selections in PSL 6

PSL should be a means of improving Pakistan cricket, however there are a number of questionable decisions which go against this.

1) Babar Azam
Babar needs all the experience he can get. He should be captaining a side as opposed to be observing on the sides like he normally does.

2) Usman Qadir
Qadir should be playing every game. He is Pakistan sole specialist spinner and should be working on his skills.

3) Shadab Khan
Not sure why he keeps batting in the top order. He will never bat in such positions playing for Pakistan so achieves nothing by promoting himself.

This is Franchise cricket for a reason, no one can decide whom franchises promote.

They can make Shaheen Afridi open, Hasan bowl off spin, Babar Azam to bowl left arm leg spin, Sohail Tanvir captain and Mohammad Irfan (7ftr) keep the wicket

Is it the franchise owners who organise grounds and visa with foreign governments or the PCB?

The PSL is a product of PCB, regardless of who owns the PSL teams.

I agree that there does need to be some vision included within the PSL in terms of how it benefits Pakistan cricket as a whole.

Babar Azam not captaining a team is ridiculous, borderline insane.

Usman Qadir should be an auto pick for whichever franchise has him.

Saud Shakeel, Abdullah Shafique and Kamran Ghulam should be featuring in every game.

Pcb is the organizing committee, the franchises are independent and cannot be dictated by pcb

Need teams 7 and 8 tbh.

A lot of players don’t get a chance in 6 teams.

The fawad and mansoors also would like to play.

Saud Shakeel barely makes domestic teams for T20s. Should the franchises play a long format player just to please you?
