Going by the media reports and rumours, it looks increasingly likely that Najam Sethi will be relieved of his duties as head of PCB and PSL.

What will become of the PSL if that were to happen?

If his successor is competent then nothing will happen otherwise it might be a disaster. What if they just keep him as the head of PSL?

This is precisely why we need strong institutions, people should come and go but the system should continue working.

Any league which involves money and private owners will sustain irrespective of management as long as there is good audience. In case of Pakistan PSL will continue to grow whoever runs PCB.

BCCI is run by Court still no effect on IPL

Could not agree anymore. We have zero institutions and it's absolutely painful to see that. People come, people go, institutions continue to work.

Also, I really don't think Sethi has done anything related to PSL that can't be replicated. In fact, I wouldn't be amazed if there's gross mismanagement involved in every step of the PSL.

The man that he is, however, we will never hear the end of this.

If Jugnuu Mohsin lends her support to PTI, it may save the future of Najam Sethi. But I find it very unlikely.

Wouldn't matter if a competent administrator is appointed as a replacement. PCB should be wholly run by administrators and not by cricketers. Most of our cricketers dont' have that mindset of diplomacy and business strategic acumen. Cricketers should only be employed as advisors in the PCB setup.

If handed over to a competent administrator,it will remain as it is or will even improve.PSL should not be affected by the loss of a single person.

Its Pakistan Super League, its property of Pakistan and PCB. Najam played an exceptional role but as the league is part of the system its nit going anywhere.

The ones who do the actual work aren't going anywhere.

A competitive institution has a revolving door policy. There is always someone better if we can employ a fair policy of hiring and firing. I believe Imran will find a much better candidate than a stooge selected by a corrupt idiot with Narcissistic personality disorder.
