Indian's don't understand that it's their military that is suffering more then anyone else. Blaming it on Pakistan does them no good at all. Killing one militant or freedom fighter will give birth to thousands more thus the violence will continue.

Spoke an Aussie married to Kashmiri from Srinagar a few weeks ago and she mentioned that even Indians who now visit Kashmir as tourist realise that Kashmiri are NOT treated like Indian and are starting to see the injustice. We all know Gambirs agenda and good in Omar Abdullah on giving it to him.

Militant and freedom fighter in one line. It's such things and people who who are the problems. There's no confusion among common indians, that these are terrorists.

The Indian state is killing en mass in Kashmir and you wonder why young men are taking up arms! I guess you are privileged enough not to have to suffer at the hands of "your own army"

In the recent years, People from other states of India have become more supportive of the Indian Army's actions in Kashmir.

Nobody sympathizes with the Jihadi terrorists of Kashmir.

Omar has accused Pakistan of supporting terrorism in Kashmir too, but you won't take that seriously.

Indian army's operations are only against militants trained by your terrorist groups.

India has every right to continue with these operations. China and Pakistan have been even more brutal when it came to suppressing these movements.

I have heard the opposite from people who live there

Om "Abdullah" himself is a sell out to the Hindu govt, but yes the bhakhts like Gambhir only see terrorists in Kashmir or triple talaq when it comes to parade the mantras of demoncracy, but have no existential problems with the structural discriminations brought by Hinduism, the caste system which is still systematically repressing Dalits or the issues faced by the indigenous population/Adivasis (they're the ones to turn Naxalites), a little tweet from the little man in this sense could have big consequences for someone who banks on Hindutvadi sentiments.

Tell me where Pakistan has used as much force as India in one area?
Plus why are you comparing the "largest secular country" with a supposed "failed state or on the way to" according to India and a communist country?

Brother I see no point in arguing your point with people who are blinded by their jingoism..

No! Indian military are the terrorists and baby killers! This is how Kashmiris and Pakistanis see it! Too bad that despite having so many so called soldiers in the valley you still can't defeat the freedom fighters. What Indians say or think does not matter to most Kashmiris.

Gambhir is trying too hard to become a politician. :inti

exactly.. searching for his next career in a place where he has zero experience and need to start from scratch...speech and comments like this will soon get him a good place in a party and i hope u know which party it is.

Cricketer Gautam Gambhir to contest Delhi elections on BJP ticket

Gautam Gambhir is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contest in the next general elections from Delhi, if reports are to be believed.

Gautam Gambhir is reportedly contesting in the next general elections on BJP’s ticket.

India shouldn’t play Pakistan in multi-nation events also if not playing in bilateral series, says Gautam Gambhir
Being Indian is about doing all the right things, says Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contest in the next general elections from Delhi, if reports are to be believed. According to a report by Dainik Jagaran, BJP, who have not come to power in Delhi for a long time, is eager to give a ticket to veteran Indian batsman to restore their image and power in the capital city. Currently, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ruling in the state.

Gambhir will not be the first athlete of his ranks to join politics after a career in cricket. He will be following Navjot Singh Sidhu, Mohammad Kaif, Praveen Kumar, Vinod Kambli and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi to name a few who have done moved to politics from cricket in the past.

While the Delhi-based southpaw has not featured in limited overs since 2012, Gambhir last represented the country in Test cricket in 2016 against England. The 36-year old has scored 4,154 in 58 Tests and 5,238 runs in 147 ODIs. He was instrumental in helping India win T20I World Cup 2007 and World Cup 2011.

He has also led his previous team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to two Indian Premier League (IPL) titles. He led Delhi Daredevils in the last season but stepped down from his position as captain after repeated losses.
