Journalism is a business nowadays and their whole purpose like any other business is to make money. I remember watching the whole NS and MN coming back to Pakistan on ARY and Samaa with the anchors making fun of them and PMLN only to play 15 paid content ads for the PMLN during the break.

It's nothing but sensationalism and that's why we continue to remain bottom of the pile when it comes to well-run countries.

ARY is on bed with PPP thanks to their partnership with Malik Riaz. They are soft for PTI only in bughaz e PMLN otherwise they turn the tables on PTI whenever needed (did it multiple times).

Last time I checked, Geo and ARY were not state owned TV channels. Even in USA, private TVs run paid ads for different parties, nothing unusual about it.

Totally agree and we all notice that. What you need to understand is that Geo has been serving Nawaz Sharif since Zardari days, Nawaz Sharif was even heard inside parliament saying "Geo ka naam lou" to one of his leader during speech.

ARY being their biggest rival naturally tilt towards PTI but i can guarantee a massive change THE DAY Geo changes their strategy/approach.

Well GEO spreading fake news is an open secret but i recently started noticing their twitter account spreading wrong facts too in favor of opposition and against Govt to create panic in public. For example look at these 2 tweets in from last couple of days. In first tweet the real number quoted by FBR is bank accounts with balance above 5 million but Geo is spreading the number 5 lac to create panic and in second tweet they are saying PPP Govt increased education budget from 8b to 178b but in reality it was increased from 170 to 178. They don't even bother to apologize or delete these tweets later.

Embedded the wrong tweet about PPP their earlier tweet was 8 billion se berha ker 178 kerdya gaya which they seems to have deleted. And here is the correct news about 5 million and Geo quoted it as 5 Lac starting a whole new controversy on social media
