The fixing put me off at first but the last few games have been excellent. Better than the first edition.

Yeah,it's been very exciting this time with all teams going neck to neck in points table, unlike previous edition where Quetta and Peshawar were bossing and Karachi,Lahore fighting for playoffs. Also many games have gone to nail biting finish.

PSL has attracted all time great t20 players like McCullum, Gayle and Sanga. There were few doubts about success of PSL-1, however, in the mid of PSL-2 it has become successful league, and when it finally comes to Pakistan there will be nothing like it, will be neck-to-neck with IPL. Infrastructure in Pakistan will get a big boost from money generated by PSL. 8-Team PSL played during summer vacation May-June month will be great for pulling crowd.

"I spoke with the PCB and gave them some tips on organising leagues and I'm glad they took my advice to heart. The PSL has got the best leg-break I've ever seen and Aleem Dar still sucks...oh and Steve Waugh was crap and I love KP"

Games in sharjah have been amazingly good. Best t20 cricket i have seen in a long time.

This edition has been great, the fixing is what has soured the mood towards the psl.

I think as the PSL grows this will alert more international former players who will want a sniff of the action and of course a share of the golden nest $$$$s

The PSL's success is based on the high quality competitive cricket this year. With that in mind, eight teams might be a stretch. I think that we should add one more team in 2018 and one final team in 2019 to make it a seven team event. Having less teams will ensure that the PSL remains competitive. I personally don't get excited in the IPL seeing the likes of ABD and Gayle take some local Indian cricketer to the cleaners. That's not competitive.

Seven teams will mean that we need around 49 Pakistani players and 28 international players. While I feel that attracting 28 international players might be a challenge, I think Pakistan can provide around 40 players who can compete at that level. Any more franchises than seven will dilute the competition and even the list of international players will not be that attractive.

Honestly this edition has been great, the last few matches have had me in awe. I didn't watch PSL after the whole fixing thing. But I have to say the Lahore V Quetta match got me right back into the PSL.

To add to the nail-biting matches this season the teams are so evenly balanced. Like we saw yesterday after Lahore won the match they went from the bottom position to number 2. As could happen to Karachi if they beat Quetta.

So excited for what's to come in the PSL.

And this isn't going to happen anytime soon

There were at least 50 international players went unsold this season, here is complete list of player taken from cricinfo who either went unsold or happy to play within Pakistan for PSL final "List of foreign players given by PCB to franchises
Rohan Mustafa, Devon Thomas, Jason Mohammad, Shane Shillingford, Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, Anamul Haq, Shahriar Nafees, Dawid Malan (gold), Morne van Wyk (gold), Sachithra Senanayake (gold), Seekkuge Prasanna (gold), Jeevan Mendis (silver), Alex Wakely (gold), Joshua Cobb (gold), Nikhil Dutta, Azeem Rafiq, Danza Hyatt, Krishmar Santokie, Tino Best, Phil Mustard, Fidel Edwards (gold/silver), Elton Chigumbura (gold/silver), Max Waller (silver), Darren Stevens (gold), Peter Trego (silver), Richard Levi (gold/silver), Miguel Cummins (silver), Asghar Stanikzai (gold), Dawlat Zadran, Nawroz Mangal, Danushka Gunathilaka, Farveez Maharoof, Kusal Mendis, Steven Taylor, Azharullah, Soumya Sarkar (silver), Jade Dernbach (gold), Owais Shah (gold), Yasir Arafat (gold), Rayad Emrit (diamond), Sulieman Benn (gold), Brendan Taylor (gold), Rashid Khan (diamond), Ashar Zaidi (silver), Ryan ten Doeschate (silver), Akeal Hosein (silver), Graeme Cremer (silver), Sean Ervine (silver), Chamara Kapugedera (gold), Milinda Siriwardana (gold), Anuk Fernando (gold), Gihan Rupasinghe (Silver), Kaushal Silva (silver)

Gold and silver categories indicate players were part of the earlier draft pool".

So attracting foreign player won't be an issue. As for local talent he concerned best pacer in the country "Sadaf Ali" is not playing in this PSL. Rahat Ali too,. These five teams have quality 15 man squad, 7-8 teams can easily accomodate these players in playing 11

Another brilliant close match. Loving this edition. Way better than the first
