Before the Start of the tournament, I was expecting a good turnout for matches involving only India and England .

But to my surprise the crowd for yesterday's match between NZ /Australia was decent and even today for the match between SL/SA a lot of non -Non-Asians have come to check the action.

The tournament is building well so far and hasnt suffered from matches being played in empty stadiums.

The Premier match between India and Pakistan is tomorrow and even before that the tournament has started on a good note.

Maybe it has something to do with the tournament being held in England.

Expecting more crowds and great atmosphere throughout the tournament .

So much for the myth that the English don't like odi cricket. The crowds have been excellent so far.

Looks like the English have started to appreciate and embrace ODI cricket more than ever, now. Things a good team can do!

England fans falling in love with the Shorter Formats, also could have the reason behind the recent resurgence of the England LOI line-up.

The English team was do goddam awful in the 90s.

According to the ct organisers 90% of the tournament was sold out last week so we can more or less expect a full house in a every game.

A Full House today between England and Australia.

Expecting great turnout during the upcoming matches between India/SA and SL/Pakistan too.

Then the obvious Semis and Finals.

Wont be that that great in Cardiff I believe for Pakistan game.

It's just not convenient to get there, posters have been contacting me all week on how they can make a journey there. Cardiff is quiet dull as well, if every game was at Edgbaston the morale of the people would be high, they'd be in good spirits and we'd get a good turn out every time with a beautiful atmosphere!

Not too bad to get there from Birmingham so I thought there would be a few making the trip. I'm personally travelling down from Manchester o the train, about 3 hours travelling but it's a virtual quarter final so want to watch it.

Cardiff has direct train links with both London and Birmingham for anyone who can't drive.

Fair enough, hope you get your money's worth in the end! I imagine you are paying a fair amount with regards to your travel expenses!

shaz619 edgbaston is the best atmosphere as far as Pakistan games go unless we playing India then they buy up all the tickets. But it is really great especially once Pakistan are on a roll. Pak vs SA was best atmosphere of the tournament

the only thing holding England back is its weather. We have a sizeable portion of expat and immigranr communities from most countries in the world here which makes for a great atmosphere even in neutral games.

In the 2013 CT the atmosphere was even better I've been told, I had to sell my tickets due to exams but my friends told me it was such a great day even though we lost so bad! P.S visit the shaykh thread in time pass

Not too many Asian fans have made to the ground today. Disappointed.

czar Cardiff or Wales in general doesnt have that many Pakistanis if this was in London or Birmingham it would have been a different story.

Still a lot less than a train, round trip price is around GBP 20.

Yeah I had found a mega bus deal for him as well but he wanted to be there on time, if there are folk from brum who prefer to take the mega-bus they'd arrive in Cardiff at 12:30pm then they'd have to get a cab to the ground or something. The match start time is 10:30am.

Personally considering heading to the final, I drive but don't fancy motorways :))

The crowd in Cardiff was brilliant

Stiing on midwicket, i was sureounded by english crowd and they were totally enjoying with us. It was amazing. Was sitting right under the pakistan dressing room and were having a good banter with the english crowd. Loved it. Its a gr8 gesture shown by english crowd when we were against thm in their own country. Amazing
