What an absolute legend

A brilliant athlete who transcended his sport and for many revived athletics.

An extremely sad ending to his career - maybe just one season too many - however, that will not over shadow an absolutely phenomenal career.

Many would argue that he is one of - if not the - greatest athlete of all time. For many he is the perfect athlete on & off the field. The fastest person to have ever lived.

I could go on and on about Bolt, everything he is, everything he has achieved and what he has done for sports - however, I guess there is only one thing left to say.

9 5 8 - Bolt, A Champion!!

What a legend.

Absolutely toyed with elite sprinters in his prime. Hell during all of his career!

Absolute legend. Cheers for the memories champ. All the best.

Legend, sad way to go,West Indians have some aura about them very different compared to others when they dominate. Hope the oldies don't come and say that it was because of smart doping now.

Incredible career wish him a happy retirement, unique once in a life time athlete we may never see another like him

He has cemented his place as the top 3 global superstars of all time.. IMO the true greatest global superstars list would be as follows:

1. Ali
2. Pele
3. Bolt
4. Maradona/Jordan
5. Federer

GOAT in his field by a long distance.. There would be millions of people in the world who would have never watched him race (even on TV) but will still know about him and that his achievement.. That is why he is arguably the GOAT sportsperson ever..

Was sad to see him get injured in his last ever race if he had not got injured there was a good enough chance he would have made Jamaica win the gold medal had to outsprint the American and Brit but if anyone could have Bolt would have even at that age..

TalhaSyed any clips of his final race?

Easily the greatest athlete (athletics) ever! He bought the sport of athletics back into the limelight with his incredible ability and big personality. Wish him all the best for the future.
