Does anyone watch this show?

This show has ended but I still watch old episodes. I love to watch it when I am eating something.

Some parts of Kitchen Nightmares are real while some are staged.

a pretty interesting show indeed.
Good that Gordon stopped doing it, he would have gotten seriously ill by some of the food

Kitchen Nightmares had two different shows. One was for UK and one was for USA.

USA one focused on USA restaurants while UK one focused on UK restaurants.

The show was kind of staged but quite entertaining.

he literally fixed family issues in that show. was more of a therapist in my view.

the show is about gordon helping people who have the wrong attitude towards life and are pretty miserable. they also happen to be horrible restaurant managers.

He has helped many families in many different ways. No denying that.

However, opposite is also true. I have seen report that his team tried to find family issues and other issues when there were no issues.

At the end of the day, it was not really a culinary show but more of a reality show.

Man you're literally me. I'm addicted to watching this crap while eating/cooking. So sarisfying.

The UK version is miles better. Search out those episodes.

I go through phases personally, never watch anything related to it for a year, see it recommended on youtube, watch a three minute clip and bam im binging the whole damn thing again.

I also like the UK ones better. It just seems more natural. US ones are filled with too much music and drama.

I also watch Gordon's other videos. He is making me interested in cooking.

I met Mr Ramsay once where he came to the place that I worked to make a programme. He got up from his concert and walked over to speak with me. He is very polite.

When the UK shows were airing I watched them religiously, then when they switched to the USA, I watched a season of those as well. But it kind of became obvious that the owners of the restaurants had agreed to let Ramsay rubbish their restaurants in colourful terms to make great tv, and in turn they would get some advice and an expensive restaurant refit. I'm not even sure his advice was always successful, it was all about the ratings. I got a bit sick of him predictably finding every dish served to him at the start of the show disgusting. Maybe the US over the top nonsense just made the fakery stand out more.

Yes. US shows were too artificial. But, I still watched.

Some restaurants got benefited due to Gordon but some got closed down.

He's doing the same with hotels now. Going into them, finding loads of awful 'discoveries' and repeating the same formula, all over dramatised with himself painted as a knight riding in to rescue the grovelling owner. I mean I can only take so much of it personally. There have been better shows of the same type where it isn't all a vehicle to sell Gordon Ramsay.

It is called "Hotel Hell". I watch it also. It is like Kitchen Nightmares but it also includes additional stuffs like quality of hotel rooms and things like that.

Hotel Hell has had 3 seasons so far. They are yet to decide whether or not there is going to be 4th season.
