We batted well against NZ with players like Shehzad, Haris and Amin.

Our batting lineup is shaping up well imo.

It's not about the results really. Good to see talat there and batting. Now if talat turns out to be a ttf, then we can't blame PCB or selectors. Most of the issue is the non selection of deserving players. Psl is helping us out I n limited over cricket bc if we see someone perform then most likely he gets selected for international.

No because our batting in T20s is trending in the right direction starting with last 4 matches now thanks to good selection. Need same course correction in ODIs.

We won't be scoring back to back 200+ runs against top nations but we can still be optimistic about the future with most of the TTF gone and a new batch of young players showing potential.

At least we are consistently good against a sub-standard team in the past even that would have been too much to ask for from the Pakistani team.

Good days for our T20 team, since we beat NZ also recently in this format. However, I make nothing much of the series against this West Indies side which is playing at associate level. In terms of ODI's, that's where we need to improve, and that's where most of the focus should be.

It has been good days in T20s for a while.

Question marks remain when it comes to ODI batting. If Sarfraz moves himself to 4 and Talat comes in for Hafeez then I have hope of things improving but we are a long ways off from the top batting units such as England and India.

Goes to show the value of home advantage - something which we have missed for years. Regardless of how weak the WI team is, they are the opposition for the day and we have given them good thrashing.
